The streets of the village of Pavorral were empty, except for a few villagers locked inside, trembling in fear of the “invisible crapper.”

Kael opened the grimório, which flashed discreetly.

Kael frowned.

“Is this serious? I’ve become a crap tracker?”

The ghost spun, excited:

“You wanted a clue — there you go!”

Lys approached, curious.

“What is it?”

Kael sighed, raised his hand, and activated the skill. His eyes glowed amber for a second and… there it was: a warm, invisible trail leaving the well, slithering discreetly behind some houses and disappearing into an alley.

“Found the path.”  

(dramatic pause)  

“Don’t ask how.”

“…How?”

“I said don’t ask.”

They followed the trail through the silent village until they stopped before a small old storage, hidden behind barrels.

Kael pulled one of the barrels aside and there it was: a secret door in the ground, with a weird symbol painted on it — a spiral… of poop.

“…This cult is more organized than it looks,” Kael commented.

He carefully lifted the door, revealing a narrow staircase.

They went down, following the damp tunnel under the village, until they started hearing… a bizarre sound echoing in the distance.

> “wawawawa papapapapalalala…”

Lys widened her eyes.

“What… is that?”

Kael replied with utter seriousness:

“The demon’s dance.”

The tunnel opened into a hidden cave, full of symbols drawn with some suspicious substance.  

In the center, a scrawny, sweaty, wide-eyed shirtless man danced awkwardly, spinning his arms and shaking his hips.

> “wawawawa papapapapalalala…”

In the middle of the ritual, a pool of black energy boiled, sending corrupted feces straight… into the village well.

Kael stood still, speechless.

“I…  

(long pause)  

…Am I really seeing this?”

The ghost popped up:

“Yep. And I’m never forgetting.”

Kael took a step forward.

“It’s over, nutjob.”

The man froze, suddenly turned, and shouted furiously:

“YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND! MY LORD… THE GREAT MASTER OF SHADOWS… WILL BRING ENLIGHTENMENT TO THIS FILTHY WORLD!”

Kael raised an eyebrow.

“Enlightenment… via crap?”

The nutjob pulled out an improvised staff.

“DIE!”

Lys grabbed her spear.

“Let’s finish this?”

Kael nodded.

“No mercy.”

[Short fight.]

The lunatic spun, tried to launch a blast of black energy… Kael easily dodged, rushed in, and punched him in the stomach, slamming him against the wall.

Lys spun her spear, blocked another attack, knocking the staff away.

The man fell to his knees, panting, defeated. Kael was already turning to leave when the man lifted his head, eyes wide, spitting hatred:

“SOON… MY MASTER WILL CLEANSE THIS WORLD OF FILTH LIKE YOU! DIE, WORMS!”

He then pulled a strange necklace from his neck, covered in grotesque symbols, and began muttering:

> “wawawawa… papapapapalalala…”

Lys stepped forward.

“What’s he…?”

Kael’s eyes widened.

“No…!”

The lunatic clawed into his own chest and… SELF-DESTRUCTED.

A stinky sonic explosion mixed with residual magic blasted through the cave.

**BOOOOOOM!**

The walls began collapsing.

“MOVE!” Kael yelled, grabbing Lys by the hand.

But before running, he spotted the strange necklace on the ground, still glowing purple.

Kael grabbed it.

“Never know when a stinky amulet might come in handy…”

Lys, coughing:

“This is… horrible!”

Kael, pulling her along:

“Life is horrible! RUN!”

Stones started crashing down, cracks opening everywhere as they dashed through the tunnel, jumping over debris.

Finally, they burst back through the secret door into the village and… **POOOOOOF!**  

The entire cave collapsed behind them, with one final sigh of absolutely deplorable stench.

Kael stood there, breathing heavily, still holding the necklace.

The grimório floated beside him.

> New Mission: “Investigate the Origin of the Corrupted Necklace.” (Optional… or not.)

Kael stuffed the necklace into his backpack and muttered:

“This isn’t gonna end well…”

Lys just nodded, still catching her breath.
