Mantas had dragged Lexi out of the castle. He had been pulling her and walking fast the whole time, and Lexi had been having a hard time keeping up with him. They exited the castle. Lexi's foot catches on a rock, and she falls and face-plant into the ground. Mantas lets go of her as he feels a force trying to drag him to the ground.

He looks at her, not believing she is lying on the ground, with her face in the ground. “Fuck!” Lexi groans and slowly moves. She is making sure nothing is broken on her. She can't take falls like she did as a kid. ”I fucking told you that I can't walk as much as you.” she looks at her one shoe, which had fallen apart when she had fallen. “My fucking shoe!” She can't believe it just fell apart like that.

Mantas looks at her and thinks, “I guess we need to get you new clothes and shoes.” He wants to sell the spices and then go shopping, but her feet and shoes have other ideas. He offers his hand to her.

She glares at it. “I'm not letting you drag me off again.”

“I'm just trying to help you get up. We will be walking to the market stalls.” He doesn't want her to fall again. He needs them to be friendly to each other until they can go their separate ways.

She accepts his hand, and she gets pulled to her feet. She is surprised that he can do that due to his slim body build and her being bigger than normal body size. ”Thank you.”

They go to the market stalls. They are going a little slower due to Lexi being careful with her shoes. Not wanting the other to fall apart on her.

They find a clothes stall run by a elderly lady. The elderly lady is perplexed by Lexi's clothes. As she is wearing pants, and the style of the clothes is just strange. The fabric is strange looking to her. She can't even guess what the fabric could be.

Lexi looks at the dresses and holds them up to her body to see which ones might fit her.

“Miss. All of those are small on your pump body.” The elderly lady takes out a small pile of clothes from a basket. “This should fit you better.”

Takes it from her and thanks her. She holds one to her body. The elderly lady had been right, it will fit her with no issues. Lexi likes the simple baby blue color of the dress. She thinks the dress looks like something from a fantasy setting.

Mantas pays for it. The cost of the dress is a small silver coin. He knows the shoes will be much more expensive due to how long it normally takes to make. He doesn't have many coins left, as the king doesn't pay him enough. Despite what his role in the kingdom is.

Lexi is happy about getting the dress. As she doesn't go clothes shopping much in her old life.

They go look for a stall with shoes next. They find one right away. Like before, Lexi tries to look for shoes that fit her. This time, she finds a pair right away. The owner of the stall offers a trade-in of the shoes she has. He does have to fix the other shoe, but it will lower the price of the new ones.

Mantas accepts the deal before Lexi could say a word. She didn't want the shoes to be gone, even though one is broken. As they are a few things from her old life. She was about to speak up until she heard the new price of the shoes. Which is five small silver coins.

She hands her old shoes over with a look of displease. Mantas pays with the same look. He barely has any coins left in his coin purse.

“Let's get you changed and to the trader's guild.” Mantas says to her. He figures with her. How big her body is, it shows a sign of how wealthy she is being able to eat good food and a lot of food. Him being the kingdom's mage will add to the look of wealth too. The trade will go off without any issues.

They find an alleyway for her to change her clothes. He uses a spell to raise earthen walls to give her modesty. When he cast the spell, his hands glowed purple, and the earth temporarily had a purple hue to it.

Once Lexi is done, she calls out to him. Now seeing her in better clothes. He admires how she looks. He thinks the dress hugs her body in the right places. He looks away so as not to keep staring. “It looks nice on you.” He says straight-faced.

“Let's go and make some money!” She has a big grin, childlike in a way.

“Yes.” He nods and agrees to that. He wants to fill his coin purse again.

He takes her to the trader's guild. On the way, Lexi asks him. “Your magic glows purple. Is all magic purple here.”

He shakes his head. He explains to her that only those who can use magic. Their magic has a color to it. The color shows how strong the magic will be or what element the person is the most powerful in. Purple magic users are strong and talented. Gold, white, and black are other types of strong and talented magic users.

“I see. I want to learn how to use magic!” She wants to yell fireball. Like those DnD memes.

“It's not that easy. Need to see if you have the skill for it. From what I saw. You might not.” He saw her stats. He knows she couldn't even cast the tiniest of spells. Her mana stat is one.

She won't let that stop her. She wants to be the overpowering protagonist of an isekai.

They go into the trade guild. Lexi notes the place is for richer merchants. Then the normal merchants as seen at the stalls before. As it's very clean and nicely made furniture is inside of it.

Mantas talks to the receptionist of the guild. Telling him that they have spices to sell. Lexi doesn't know what to do; she looks forward and keeps quiet.

They are led to a room. A man sitting at a desk. An older gentleman with a slight belly to him. He moves to the cushioned chairs that are at a table. The receptionist whispers to him what they will be selling to them. He motions to take the seats across from him. They do so.

“Welcome, Grand Mage. I'm guessing the pretty woman is your wife or the woman you will be wed to.” He is buttering them up to make a good deal of the spices. Spices are a good thing to obtain. As they are on the pricey side of things, and hard to come across.

It's not often the kingdom's mage is seen outside of the castle. Much less with a woman with a full body. He figures they might be together in a marriage or to be wedded.

“She isn't my wife, nor I'm not courting her. We are here on business. That's it.” The older gentleman's words did not affect him. He wants to cut the small talk.

His words do not affect Lexi either. She saw the types of guys like him in animes and TV shows. She knows he is trying to get a better deal out of them. She takes out five bottles of spice and places them on the table.

The older gentleman can't get a better deal out of this by using honey words. He takes a look at the spices, holding the salt one to the light. “Those are not the proper containers for them.” As light could damage or change the taste of the spices. He opens the bottle to taste. “This is high quality salt.”

He goes to taste a little of each spice. Figuring out the quality of each. He grabs the abacus from his desk. He moves the wooden beads on it and adds up the price of all the spices. He returns to the table.

“This guild doesn't have enough coins to pay for everything here. We can do a monthly payment plan or sell three bottles for 20 small gold coins.” He is still trying to make a profit. The guild can triple its profit by selling to the right people.

Mantas is shocked at how much they will be. The usual calm and composed man is showing shock on his face. “20 small gold coins!” With that amount. It will last a few generations of the common people.

“We can't take it all in small gold coins. Not many can exchange it. We are leaving today.” Mantas says. He might have to bribe them not to say a thing about them being here. As it will leave a trail and a hint of what Lexi's skill could do.

“Let me take the amount of what we have in smaller coins. Most of the amount will be the small gold coins.” He warns them. He goes to leave the room with the abacus.

He comes back with a tray of piles of coins. There are big and small coins of silver and copper. There is one small pile of gold coins. “I did the math and you will get 100 small copper, 50 big copper, 64 small silver, 53 big silver and 14 small gold.” He places the tray down and takes the three bottles of spices.

Mantas is counting out the coins to make sure all the coins are there. He doesn't want them to be cheated out of coins. Even with this amount. He takes two of the small gold coins and puts them on the table.

“We got the spices legally. But if anyone asks if we were here. Don't say.” He wants the king to waste time trying to find them.

The old gentleman and receptionist agreed to that. Each took a small gold coin. They will keep quiet.

With the deal done. Mantas has Lexi put the two unsold spice bottles and a few small gold coins in her dimension storage. He put the rest in his coin purse.
