As Albrecht recalled his childhood, he remembered how the angel gave him a taste of true joy—of simply being a child. Before parting, the angel left him a small sapling.
He spotted a small blue sapling nestled in the center of a narrow clearing, surrounded by dense forest.
A tiny, circular pond reflected the light, while a single beam of sunlight broke through the canopy—illuminating only the sapling. The rest of the clearing lay in shadow, veiled by towering, dark trees.
Young Albrecht: I thought it’d be a big tree...
Angel Miguel: Young lad, I need you to protect this little one. I’ll give you a place to grow strong—a warrior who saves lives. Just care for this sapling. All it needs is water—pure, as God made it.
Young Albrecht: Hmm... what if I use fertilizer to make the Tree of Life grow faster?
He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Angel Miguel: *chuckles* You funny child. Would you feed a pregnant being the remains of others and expect it to thrive?
Then two of them shake hands.
Albrecht (narrating): I thanked him with all my heart before agreeing. He asked only that I care for it—and wait a decade. Since you were born from the Tree of Life just yesterday, it's only right that I give you a name.
Present day...
Albrecht: I think I should call you Eartha because you're the daughter of mother nature!
There was a cold stillness in her face—calm, yet laced with disdain. Her voice was low, clipped, like each word left a bad taste behind.
Mysterious woman: I’m Kaye. I already have a name—that’s my right.
