"Hello there, Mr. Katsuragi. My name is Doctor Nikolai Valtsev. You are allowed to call me Doctor Nikolai."

Katsuragi crossed his arms and smiled sarcastically. Carmira frantically took a picture of Doctor Nikolai.

"D-Doctor Nikolai Valtsev is really here! E-Ehem, doctor.. why are you here? Is there a problem?" 

"I actually had no intention of coming to Shanzhou. But when I heard news from the workers here that there was an Awakener who had an unstable frequency, and that person was Mr. Shin Katsuragi himself. It's rare for cases of Awakeners of this frequency to appear." 

Meanwhile, the people behind the scenes are whispering to each other. 

"What?? Who's that man? Why is Doctor Valtsev so interested in him?" 

"I heard that man is an Inzumo person."

Doctor Nikolai immediately led Katsuragi into the experiment room.

In the experiment room, Katsuragi was put through various types of experiments. This includes testing his blood, and much more. Katsuragi was also placed in a training room which was then filled with attack drones.

After a few minutes of testing, Doctor Nikolai looked satisfied with the results. 

"Interesting. Very interesting.." 

Meanwhile, Katsuragi did some stretching to relieve his arms. 

"Why? Got good results? Am I S rank?"

"No, it's better. You can fight Pathkeeper."

Doctor Nikolai opened the box and showed two pairs of guns with longer barrels. And Katsuragi saw a name on both the barrels of the gun.

"Onyx? I think the person sent it by mistake."

"Hey Dargo... how are you? Are you done hugging me, or do you want me to shoot you with this gun so badly?"

Dargo quickly released his arm from Katsuragi. 

"Haha, relax.. Anyways, do you want to help me and Carmira in cleaning up the Abyss Field?" 

"I thought you that you are a boxer. Apparently, you are also an Awakener." 

Dargo then shows his Awakener license to Katsuragi and takes him away. 

"At least you're useful than just being a boxer."

Meanwhile, at Novaris Island.

"We found nothing, Lady Xiang Hua. Just... blood stains, no trace of a body at all." 

Xiang Hua communicated through a hologram displayed in front of an Awakener there. She was clearly a little worried about the situation. 

"Okay, you'd better find shelter right away. General Shenghua will come to get you." 

"Yes, Lady Xiang Hua."

The call was deleted. While the Awakener sought shelter, a tall black figure watched from afar.
