I’ve been thinking about how to get Adrian and Celica to meet. I still think they’d be great for each other, I just have to set it up right. But since I met Summer by total happenstance, I feel like maybe I don’t have to do anything too fancy. If I give them a nudge, maybe they’ll work it out themselves.

I sound crazy, don’t I? If I had any friends, I think they’d tell me I sound crazy. Way too invested in something that might never be more than a hobby.

Speaking of having friends, I hung out with Summer just the two of us for the first time today! We walked down to that stand that has the killer hotdogs, and when she couldn’t open the ketchup packet I got to use my pocket knife to do it for her—the cool one with the white dragon on the handle that I gave to Adrian. It felt sorta romantic.

Then we just sat and talked in the sun for a while. She has this gorgeous wavy black hair that kind of glows in the sun. And her eyes are this mesmerizing blue…if I could, I’d keep looking into those eyes forever.
