I think I’ve solved my love interest problem.

Okay, it sounds bad when I start there, so let me back up.

I just got back from a Halloween party. I know! Me! At a party! I didn’t even have anyone to go with, but I saw the poster on campus and for once I felt brave.

And boy did it pay off! While I was there, I met this gorgeous girl named Summer Evans. She’s hilarious and so much more outgoing than me.

We even go to the same university, although we don’t share any classes since she’s a chem major. I got her number, but probably in an “as friends” kind of way. I don’t think I’ll ever have the guts to take it further.

BUT hear me out. There’s this book I’ve been struggling to write, because the protagonist Adrian is all figured out in my head but I can’t figure out a convincing love interest. Well, what if I made Summer into a love interest? (Obviously I’d change her name though.)

I can see her and Adrian being perfect for each other already.

I think I’ll name her Celica.
