THESE LOOK SLIGHTLY LIKE ASS but that's only because they're old pages I never uploaded waaay back in the day when I was first making this thing. So next week, expect the art to look a bit different! :D

OKAY, STORY TIME:

eight years ago (hot dang, that's a long time) I stopped making this comic because certain family members frequently told me that it was a stupid hobby and a waste of time, I needed to focus on finishing school, getting a good job, there was no point if I wasn't gonna make any money, etcetera, and I got really depressed and lost all motivation. The comic entered multiple hiatuses before I halted it altogether and gave up.

Fast-forward to a few years back. I had moved out and had freedom to pursue comic-making again, and wondered if it would be a good idea for me to return to Zoun Quall. But seeing it reminded me of my family telling me it would never be good enough, so I decided to completely reboot it! Updated artwork, nicer backgrounds, a cooler plot! I uploaded some concept art, and your comments were SO SWEET! I got as far as THREE EPISODES that I planned to use as a buffer of sorts so I could update more frequently and not have to worry about disappearing again!

... and then before I could commit to Zoun Quall again, my grandma got cancer. everyone kind of lost it. I got so overwhelmed that I tripped and fell off the face of the earth again.

SIGH.

Fast-forward again to present time. My little siblings are encouraging me to draw again. I have a steady, well-paying job. Everyone's okay. And I... actually have free time? and I'm BORED? and I need something fun to do? And oh, what's this? The stats inform me that people are still reading and subscribing to Zoun Quall, despite the fact that my inconsistent little rear end can't even get past chapter 2????

How I ended up with the nicest, coolest readers in the world, I will never know. But I do know that I love you all <3

When Mirai’s sister Zoun Quall vanishes after the Warp Engine explosion that mutated Miser City into a nightmare of flesh-tech hybrids, she dives into the chaos to uncover the truth. But the key to Zoun’s fate lies in Jason Maxwell: one such hybrid who might know what happened... or be the reason it did.
