Jaymir looked to the building where the hooded person pointed at. The condition of the building was the same as the other buildings. He nodded to the hooded person and continued to the building. 

Jaymir gently pushed open the doors and they creaked as if they were crying in pain. Once Jaymir put his foot down on the ancient floor, the floorboards creaked. Inside the building wasn't pretty either, the bar was warped, and the stools were replaced with barrels, the tables in this building were crates. The walls were warped and ancient and the stairs were bent, falling apart, and warped.

Eyes were glued to Jaymir as he entered the building, making Jaymir feel small and weak. Jaymir lowered his head, and his cheeks started to turn pink, as he started to move closer to the tavern keeper, the whispers began to form. Step by step, it was harder for Jaymir to continue, but he pushed through the rumors and whispers that were forming, which caused doubt within him.

Suddenly he heard, "Hello sir, how can I help you?" the voice was rough, but friendly as he looked up, he saw a man, this man looked like a human, but he was way too big. The man was tall, and Jaymir had to look up to him. he wore an outfit that looked like he owned the tavern. He wore an apron and pants and boots, yet he had a sleeveless shirt that showed his muscles. The man washed a mug with a rag and tilted his head looking at Jaymir, as if he was waiting to hear an answer from Jaymir.

Jaymir gulped in fear as looked in sneering terror at the man,

"Um, a room for one."

The entire building was filled with laughter, the man looked at Jaymir trying to hold back laughter, "Well, sir, that will be 5 silver pieces." Jaymir's cheeks turned a shade of pink and he turned towards the door as he said, "Right money." he let out a sigh before he heard, "I am sorry sir, but you'll need to pay to rent a room." Jaymir nodded as he started to walk towards the door before saying, "It's okay, silly of me to think it was free." the room of the building burst into laughter yet again.

Before he left, he could hear the tavern calling him names, he stepped out with a huge, embarrassed expression on his face, as he said, "Looks like I am sleeping in the road tonight." Jaymir could still hear the people in the tavern, as he slowly walked towards the dying tree in the middle of the roundabout with his head down in disappointment.

He sat there in a fettle position as he used the sack he weaved in seaweed as a blanket. He looked around as he saw the hooded person was no longer around, but her wagon was closed up for the day. He sat there pondering what to do to get out of this situation, but every time someone came out of the building, people snickered and laughed as they walked away shaking their head.

Jaymir just frowns in disgust and watches them walk away. Jaymir continued this while shivering in the cold windy town, but he left people alone, as he didn't want to get kicked out of the town. The wind blew harshly, and the chill creeped within the night. The dust of the dirt blew against Jaymir, as he watched the people continue their lives until he finally closed his eyes for the night.

During the night, the howls of the beasts from the outside made Jaymir stir in his sleep, but he knew the dwarven guard was keeping everyone safe. The night sky was illuminated by the moonlight and the stars sparkled in the sky. The soft, but mocking tones of the people made it unfortunately comfortable, and Jaymir was able to get a full amount of sleep.
