Whilst the four-man group was making its way to the police department. Those back at Team Lion's headquarters were going over the information they had just received from Andre just a little while ago. “I'm glad Brandi got through OK. I was a bit worried,” a relieved Jaida said as she wrote down the answer: ‘excisional biopsy’ on the crossword she and Dzzy were doing together. “I'm not sure what she's been through exactly, but I'm happy for her,” Dzzy said as she filled out the next word on the crossword, writing down the word ‘Hyperthyroidism’ right across where Jaida did. Cody looks over the two shoulders. “You know that's a really specific puzzle, you guys.” “Well, doing a general puzzle isn't that fun, to be honest,” Jaida says, writing the next word before passing it back to Dzzy. “Yeah, I mean, wouldn't you love to do one all about color theory?” Cody's mouth becomes agape with joyous surprise as he hears Dzzy's suggestion."You know that sounds absolutely amazing, if I'm being honest.” Whilst the group of three talked, Leon and Felicia caught up with one another in her office.
Felicia was off to the side, her suit jacket and tie off, doing some pull-ups; meanwhile, Leon sat at the desk, his feet kicked up on it, downing what appeared to be his 3rd beer and munching on a bowl of peanuts. “So, Leon, how are your cubs coming along?” Felicia says in the middle of another pull-up, “Your ability to refer to anyone or anything as an animal forever astounds me, but if I had to say they are coming along nicely, they would be able to go on tougher missions on the outskirts of the city soon enough.” “I was thinking the same about mine".
They have met and exceeded expectations in regard to combat,” Felicia says, doing another pull-up. “But you know that's not what I mean.” Leon sighs in response, “You got me. I was trying to avoid it cause the last thing you want to do with someone's life is probe through their issues, but from looking from the inside out, Nia, Dzzy, and Cody seem to be doing good. They really seemed to hit it off after meeting each other, and Nia going out of her way to fight her demons might inspire the others to do the same.” Leon said, opening another can of beer and starting to drink. “I noticed you skipped your newest recruit,” Felicia says, hopping down from the pull-up bar and beginning push-ups. “Well, he's only been here for a few days; what could I actually know about the kid?” *He said, going in for some more peanuts. “You're a bad liar, you know,” Felicia said, looking over at him with a disapproving face from the floor.
“If I had to answer his issue to figure it out, it would require a lot of soul-searching. He seems to be looking for something.” Felicia rolls her eyes as she does another set of push-ups. “That's totally not vague as all hell..” “Hey, don't blame me. I just met the kid,” he says defensively before taking another sip of beer. “But what about yours? How are they holding up?” Leon says inquisitively. “Well, they all seem good. Jaida, making friends with your cubs is sure to help, for one.” Leon sighs.
“Do you really have to call them that?” “Yes, but anyways, if I had to answer you, I'd say they have some things to work out, but I have an inkling that your cubs can help mine out and vice versa,” she says, standing up after finishing her last set of pushups. “Do you have an issue with just saying ‘kids’ or something?” Leon says, putting back down the now-empty beer can. “But to reanalyze the mission performance side of all this, I do believe we should suggest them all for higher mission and pay. I think they have what it takes for it. “Wait, didn't you just become an official team like a little while ago,o and this is your newest member’s second mission?” A small moment of awkward silence falls in between the two after the question is asked. After a second, Leon finally answers the question, “Andre’s a quick learner, he’ll be fine, and besides, Sasha will approve, I'm sure she loves me,” he says, reaching down to grab another beer. “I'll put in a good word just in case, the fact that Team Sloth is helping Team Lion should do a lot for your case,” she says, getting up being done with her light workout. “You're a real pal, you know that Felica,” He said with a wide smile on his face before sipping his beer. “I'm just returning the favour, is all,” she says, going over to him and grabbing a water bottle and extending it out to him. “So cheers to our cubs leveling up,” She says with a wide smile. Leon smiles back in response and taps his beer can into her water bottle. “Cheers to our kids.’ Meanwhile,
The team of Andre Nia, Brandi, and Gabriel arrives at the police department. “If it's alright with you guys, I'd prefer to stay inside. I may not be involved with criminal activity anymore, but someone like me isn't exactly comfortable being inside if that makes sense”. Nia shrugs and gives a reassuring smile to her. “That's fine, you can stay in the car, I'll be out as soon as possible”. Gabriel looks over to Brandi. “I'll stay in the car, too. Little Miss Carjacker might get lonely.” his comment is met with a flick to his forehead by Brandi. “Oww, what was that for’?! Gabriel says, holding his forehead. Andre looks over to Nia as the two get ready to head in as Nia seems to pause with a bit of worry in her movements. “You alright, Nia, we can find another way if you want, how about Daiishia instead?” he says, reaching for his phone. Nia relaxes and looks over to him with a smile “Andre it's fine just a couple of jitters i haven't been here in while is all but i appreciate the gesture really." Andre smiles in response “Awesome to hear ready whenever you are.” The two exit the car and head into the police headquarters for the last piece of info they need.
