The Villain: DRAGON DOMINATION

The Flow of the Beasts

The Flow of the Beasts

May 29, 2025

Chapter Seven: The Flow of the Beasts

I gathered all that remained of my strength in my chest, focused it until I felt my soul burning, then released it from my mouth…

Dragon Flame.

The fire burst from my mouth with sudden force, surging like a storm, surprising the beast that hadn’t expected a direct attack.

The air around me burned, and tongues of flame rushed toward the Bloodfang Wolf, engulfing it completely.

It staggered backward, trying to fend off the fire with its heavy breathing and deformed claws, stumbling on the ground like a beast that had lost its balance before forces it could not comprehend.

And while it screamed and writhed in the flames, I seized the moment.

I leapt quickly toward the horned rabbit, caught it before it could escape, then turned and fled with all the energy I had.

I could hear the roar of the beast behind me as it tore through the forest, but I didn’t look back.

All that mattered now was that I hadn’t been defeated…

And I hadn’t betrayed my pride.

I didn’t know whether I had won or not, but I knew one thing only…

I had preserved my pride, even if it was wounded.

And I had stayed alive.

I was running without stopping, branches rushing toward me, and the damp forest floor groaning beneath my unsteady steps.

The horned rabbit in my arms was trembling, its breath ragged, as if it had shared with me the terror of that battle.

I wasn’t looking for victory, but for shelter… for a moment in which I could breathe without hearing a roar behind me or smelling blood.

After minutes of running, I could hear nothing but my own breathing and his.

I stopped. I looked around until I saw a massive tree with a hollow trunk, half-covered in black moss, a dark hiding place barely visible to the eye.

I approached it cautiously, then crawled inside while holding the rabbit close to me.

I could hear the beats of my heart like war drums, and every cell in my body was screaming with exhaustion.

The temporary calm felt like a blessing.

I placed the rabbit beside me and lay down in silence.

I survived… at least, for today.

I closed my eyes for a moment, not to relax, but to process what had happened.

I am a dragon. A small, weak, hunted, frightened dragon…

But I did not run. I did not break.

And I did not disgrace my pride.

This world doesn’t joke.

It doesn’t matter who you are—if you’re not strong… you will be crushed.

I had been hiding in this place for nearly three hours, frozen in place, watching every movement and whisper coming from the depths of the forest.

I was anticipating the return of the Bloodfang Wolf at any moment, but time passed with heavy slowness, and there was no sign of him.

And when I was completely sure that he was no longer nearby, I finally took a deep breath and rose quietly.

I began to move cautiously toward the cave, placing my feet carefully on the damp ground so as not to make any sound that might draw attention.

I was still holding the green rabbit with a single horn in my arms, and it clung to me silently, as if it sensed that the danger had not yet passed.

No major changes were needed—just a slight smoothing of the second sentence for readability.

This wolf wounded my pride as a dragon. The attack wasn’t just an assault on my body, but an attack on my existence as a red dragon and on my former life as a human. That moment when I felt the pride of the red dragon collapse was a bitter moment I will never forget.

But this incident made me more determined to survive in this harsh world that spares no one. A world ruled by the strongest, where there is no place for the weak.

My pride, which this beast wounded, will not remain in the shadows. I will have my revenge, and I will make it my meal one day.

A week has passed since that night.

I no longer felt fear of the forest around me, but I was living in a place between life and death,

between struggle and pride.

But there was something else… that rabbit.

I had decided to raise it, to make it a creature that shares in my spiritual journey.

It wasn’t just food, but a reminder of what I was… and what I had become.

At least, that’s what I think at the moment.

I gradually began training it.

It suffered from fear at first, trembling whenever I tried to approach it or infuse spiritual energy into it.

But I was determined.

In that moment, I sat before him in silence, then placed my hand on his heart.

Sense the energy… this is your first lesson.

But the rabbit didn’t understand. He was just a rabbit.

He moved in random motions, his eyes showing nothing but confusion.

Don’t be afraid. Don’t run. Relax… let my power flow into you. Let yourself feel the current.

But nothing happened. The rabbit just looked at me with wide eyes, unaware of what I was doing.

He was able to sense the energy, and yet he couldn’t control it. He was just a small creature in this vast world.

I felt disappointed at first, but I insisted on continuing to try.

It’s only the beginning. Nothing is easy.

I whispered to myself, I will make him do it even if it causes his death — it doesn’t matter, he’s just a speck in the desert.

A month had passed since my escape from the bloodthirsty wolf. During this time, I began hunting rabbits and capturing them alive to raise them in the cave where I live.

I made a wooden cage to place them in. Well, I thought of this after the encounter with the wolf with the blood-soaked fangs that had occurred.

Today, something strange is happening in the forest; it’s the monster’s surge.

In the distance, dust was rising unnaturally. The terrible sound that the earth began to echo made me feel something strange inside me. It seemed that everything in the forest was changing at that moment.

The monsters began to appear, huge and fast, moving in great numbers in one direction. They were running as if they were unaware of anything else in this world. The ancient trees were shattering under their massive feet, and the sounds were so deafening that the earth was shaking.

The large trees were falling easily, like fragile twigs, while the monsters passed through them as if they were nothing. Some were enormous, with sharp horns and eyes burning with anger, while others were more agile but had long claws that almost seemed to cut the earth beneath them.

I was hiding among the rocks, terrified, unable to move. I couldn’t understand what made them move this way. Is there something more dangerous than the bloodthirsty wolf? Something that makes these monsters flee like this?

Everything around me was filled with noise and chaos. The deep roars echoed throughout the forest, while the monsters chased each other and destroyed everything in their path. It seemed as if they weren’t chasing prey, but running from something even more dangerous.
