Andre followed right behind Nia into the department, and letting her talk just made the most sense. Once inside, some heads immediately turn to the young adults, and upon first sight, the entire department erupts into rumblings by the older officers in the building. In contrast, the younger ones wonder what all the noise was about. An older man, looking to be in his early 50s, wearing a deputy badge, approached. He was a caucasian man with all grey hair who approached Andre and Nia. “Well, I be darned little Miss Williams finally come back to see us, it's been just about 3 years, hasn't it?” the deputy asked, musing over memories.

Nia shrugs in response, not sure herself, “Not sure really, but it's nice seeing you again,n, David, but I need your help with something”. David sighs in response to her straight-to-business response, “Straight to business, you certainly are your father's child.” Nia winces a bit at the comment that catches Andre’s attention as he makes a mental note of it. David seems not to notice her reaction as he looks over to Andre. “And who is the young man?” David asked with a raised eyebrow. “I'm Andre, Andre Middleton. It's a pleasure to meet you, officer,” he says, reaching out his hand to shake David's hand. David reciprocates and shakes his hand. David's eyes widen a bit at the firmness of Andre's handshake. The two let go. “Strong grip you got there sonny that's good to see” David said with a small smile.“How do you know Nia anyhow?” he asks Andre, “Oh i'm a co-worker, i'm the new guy actually” David rolls his eyes in response seemingly a bit annoyed by this job “Oh you're with the shady fella in the suit huh, you both should get out of that he's clearly running some kind of scheme; i mean seriously with this and the whole private detective game you've been running around doing i can't imagine what your father would think?” David said, shaking his head. These comments clearly were affecting Nia who seemed quite upset leading to Andre quickly changing subject “Not to interrupt but we did need a listing of all of the local churches and their owners, please” he said with a bit of anger underlined in his voice as he did.

David seemed a bit startled but soon regained his composure, his mind wondering why Andre and Nia seemed upset all of the sudden, just chalking it up to young people being uppity he simply points to a back computer they can use before walking off making an offhand remark as he did “just don't take too long people have real detective work to do” before walking into office before closing the door. Nia heads over to the computer, her face downcast after all the rude comments made by David; “Sorry you had to go through that, guys, a dickhead” Andre said, staring a hole through the door David walked through whilst walking behind her. Nia didn't respond right away, quietly and quickly got a printout of all the info they needed, upon getting the documents, getting them out and filed, and the two quietly and made their leave, heading back to the car. As they headed inside, their current bad mood was immediately noticed by Brandi and Gabriel. “Everything alright with you two, you're starting to look like Gabriel’s resting face.” Gabriel makes an unamused face at the comment. “Why did I have to catch a stray”? Nia sighs, “Sorry for killing the mood,just hate dealing with people I despise is all ... .oh and uhh Andre thanks for taking up for me like that, it really means a lot, truly I should have said that earlier." Andre shakes his head  “It was nothing really, i just can't stand people throwing the dead in peoples faces it's disgusting i'm sorry you have to deal with someone like that” Bradni and Gabriel both perk up at this not getting the full context but enough to also get pissed on Nia’s behalf “Not sure who you guys are talking about but he sounds awful, what a jerk’ Bradni says in disbelief. “I say we break his kneecaps,” an enraged Gabriel says. “He’s a police chief, I'd rather you not get yourself arrested,” Nia says with a slightly worried face. “But I appreciate the energy, it's good to know you guys have my back,” she says with a wide smile. The group makes their way back to Team Lion headquarters since they have plenty of information to narrow the search. As they make headway back, Andre calls up Cody to fill everyone in on the success of gathering clues. “Yo, Dre, you got some good news, I presume?” “Yeah, just got a list of all church owners in the city, so we should be able to pinpoint them when we get back.” Andre's tone seemed a bit off to Cody as if something had peeved him, which led him to ask, “Andre, is everything ok? Who pissed you off?” Andre shook his head in response before answering, “It doesn't have much to do with me if I'm being 100% honest, it's with Nia, it's better if she tells you what happened”.

"I gotcha, though you too seem to be getting pretty close,” Cody says, having a smug face on the other side. “I mean, yeah, why wouldn't I get to know a good coworker and friend better?” Andre was not picking up what Cody was alluding to. “Well, anyway, see you guys when you get here,” Cody says, hanging up. He turns to Dzzy and smiles happily at her. “Dzzy, Operation ‘Get Together’ is firing on all cylinders. Dzzy pumps her fist and beams excitedly, “Yes, yes, all according to plan”. Jaida tilts her head nearly sideways and asks, “What's this  Operation you speak of”? Dzzy and Cody cover each other's mouths in shock, but realize they already pretty much spilled the beans. Cody sighs, “We are trying to get Nia and Cody together; they have this air about them that makes them seem compatible.” Dzzy nods along, simply agreeing with their reasoning on their project. “It's why we've been staying behind to let them have time to get to know each other. Jaida nods with a blank look on her face, “Oh, it's like my mission, Blazing Raven. I do wish Bandi and Gabirel would make things easier for me”. Dzzy and Cody look at each other, then back at Jaida. A little while later the Andre and others finally arrive back. Upon entering, Andre and Nia are met with a big hug from Dzzy. “Welcome back,” Dzzy says with a grand smile.
