Why should Solace be spared the chopping block while most of his percentage-blood kin are slaughtered? Just because he’s well-formed? Just because he happens to be an interesting color?
Do sapiens like us need meat to survive? Or could we engineer avocados and other fruits—bigger, meatier, rich in complete proteins—to finally replace livestock?
Could we live on sustainable meat substitutes… or is that still beyond reach for the average working class?
I don’t usually plan things out before I write. If I try to overthink it, I never end up creating anything at all. I just have to dive in and follow the momentum.

I draw my stories by hand, on paper. I bought an Intuos tablet years ago but never quite got the hang of it. I have an iPad too, but my Apple Pencil is MIA. That combo might be a game changer—if I ever find it.
Until then, I’ll keep scratching pencils onto paper, speed-sketching my characters with fervor and love.
In Cintar, unicorns are bred as war beasts—or tacos. Only the deadliest and most beautiful become Mechknight mounts. The rest are served sizzling at Track’s Tacos, where legends are either ridden or devoured.
