Unsurprisingly, Yerik was recording on his phone, while his friends around him cheered for the green team. Ethan could see Yerik in his jersey, and he'd be lying if he said it didn't make his heart flutter every time his gaze fell on it. His fluffy blonde hair was tucked under the green scarf he was wearing. 

'Oh god,' Ethan thought. 'I really lucked out, huh. This gorgeous, gorgeous man is mine. All mine.'

His focus snapped back to the game as someone shoved him aside. Med guys are bastards- except Yerik, of course. He's an angel among these trolls.

Ethan was still silently ranting when he got shoved again. Dammit.

"Quit dreaming, you!" One of his teammates yelled.

"He's getting distracted. Again," another said, sounding like a disappointed guardian.

The first teammate rolled his eyes at their captain's behavior. Blunt and outspoken, he snapped, "Think with your head above your shoulders, not the other one! Quit staring at your boyfriend's ass!"

Now that was not only offensive, but also very, very untrue. Ethan quipped back, his face slightly red but his tone sarcastic, "He's sitting down, genius! And I'm not staring!" He couldn’t help but mumble under his breath, "I'm just appreciating his face..."

He got shoved again. 

Dammit.

This had to be a conspiracy by the med guys—putting Yerik in a seat so close to the barrier.

"Stop ogling him, law guy!" This time, it was a med team player, Jacob, to be exact, who laughed. There was a twinkle in his eye and a smug grin on his face. Oh yes, he and Felix definitely did this on purpose.

Ethan just rolled his eyes, muttering something that sounded a lot like, "Cheating medical students."

Meanwhile, Felix had just finished giving Yerik a very serious talking-to, while Yerik, still recording Ethan, tried to explain himself. Yerik was also sipping on a frappe, which Felix held because his own hands were otherwise occupied with the recording. Generally, cup and bag holding was Jacob's department, but he was playing right now, so Felix had to multitask.

"You look like you're enjoying this, darling! Being in 'that guy’s' jersey!"

"I'm really not, Felix," Yerik said for the nth time, not even pretending to sound tired or exasperated anymore.

"He's staring at your ass!"

"I'm sitting down. He literally can’t stare at my ass."

"Tch." Felix rolled his eyes. "Whose side are you even on? Your department- your own department, you know, the people who stay up at night with you during exams? Or your boyfriend?" Felix said the word 'boyfriend' like he was referring to a slimy green bug.

"I couldn’t care less who wins," Yerik rolled his eyes. "Look- if Ethan- Yes, he does have a name, must be surprising for you- if he loses, he'll be sad. If we lose, you guys, and basically the whole department, will be sad. And one has to lose, since this isn't a Disney movie where everyone becomes happy. Honestly, I'd let fate decide this one."
