Two weeks passed. Ayumu finally made enough money for his apartment, which is in East Sapporo. "I'll see you guys later, Mom, Dad, May." He put his last box in a white moving truck. He then got into the passenger's seat.
An Indian guy who was driving it asked, "Where to?"
"East Sapporo," he replied.
When they arrived at the apartment and put the boxes in, Ayumu flopped on the couch, tired. "I should call Yoshida and see if he wants to play UFC 5." He texted his blue-eyed future brother-in-law.
Yoshida texted back, "I'm at work. I'll do so later."
"Well, I'll call Sakaki then." He called his soon-to-be girlfriend. "Hullo? Sakaki?"
"Hi, Ayumu. How are you?" she asked.
"Just moved in my new apartment. I have all these boxes I gotta unpack, but I'm tired. What are you doing?" he asked.
"Just got out the shower. I'm gonna fix me some chicken salad and watch Pokemon." Sakaki finally found the ranch dressing. "Found the ranch. Now, all I need is tomatoes."
Ayumu asked, "Wanna come by my place and chill?"
"Sure. Just let me finish fixing my salad." Sakaki hung up and started cutting the grilled chicken and veggies.
Fifteen minutes later, he and Sakaki were digging into his box of rock-and-roll CDs. "I like rock," Ayumu pointed out. "You know, The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, K.I.S.S, Elvis..." The purple-and-red haired man took out his radio and plugged it in. He put his Elvis CD in.
"I have a question for you: do you like me?" Sakaki asked Ayumu.
"I do have feelings for you," he answered. "You've got me."
Sakaki hugged him. "I've never had a boyfriend before." She kissed him on the lips. "I have an Eevee tattoo."
"Where is it?" Ayumu asked her.
"My butt, hehe. You're gonna be able to see it one day." Sakaki sat on the couch and ate her salad. "You gonna eat anything?"
"I'm gonna order some sashimi and omurice. Want anything?" Ayumu used his Doordash.
"I want a Sprite," she requested.
"Okay, I'm typing the order in." Ayumu ordered the food. "And a Sprite."
Twenty minutes later, his food and their drinks came in. "Thanks for the Sprite," she said to Ayumu whilst eating the last of his salad. "If you had food in here, I'd cook for you."
Ayumu replied, "No problemo." He ate a piece of salmon sashimi. "Want any sashimi?"
"Nope, but I'll eat sushi if you had any." Sakaki sipped her Sprite. "Wanna play some music?"
Ayumu played 'Hound Dog' by Elvis Presley. Then he went back to eating his raw fish and hoisin sauce. "I get my Roku next week. When that day comes, I can watch Pokemon."
"That's great. In the meantime-between-time, we could talk about our future. How many kids do you want?"
"2-3. I'm looking to adopt a child from the orphanage at one point. But I don't wanna do sex till after marriage." He ate the last of his sashimi. "I'm gonna eat some omurice." He ate some of his rice-and-egg dish. "Least this place comes with a microwave. I could buy TV dinners tomorrow."
"Or I could fix you some meals. I have lots of food I could fix for you," Sakaki suggested.
"You can." Ayumu ate the last of his rice omelette. A notification sound beeped; it was from Rizin. "They signed me to the MMA promotion! They're looking for me a fight."
