I'll be honest, I'm not completely happy with this first draft. I do want to cut out a few elements that don't really seem to work or add to the story, such as the whole situation with Lannis (it didn't really impact Anise's character arc that much, so wtf was the point???). I think Xiana/Sianna's story could be developed further, and maybe some of the other saints as well (gosh, too many characters to keep track of). Does the plot twist of Renee being the reincarnation of the zeroth saintess even work or should I cut that part out in draft 2??? At this point, draft 2 would be an entirely new story, ugh. I'm going to take draft one down once I write a better version a couple years down the line.

New update: Yes, I have taken the whole thing down and I'm planning on rewriting a new version next month. Wish me luck!
