Chapter 6 – “You Motherfucker!"

Chapter 6 – “You Motherfucker!"

Jun 08, 2025

There was fear in his eyes, but the smile stayed on his lips. With that same smile, he calmly looked at the Princess.
The Princess locked her gaze on Zag.

Zagh turned his head and very casually looked at the bodies he’d just killed. He was covering his tracks—
He didn’t want the Princess to realize that, for a moment, he had actually felt threatened by her.

The Princess grew suspicious. With a playful glint in her eyes, she stepped a bit closer.

Princess: “Why were you touching your neck?”

Zagh caught the threat in her tone, but only smiled. He answered mockingly:

Zagh: “I didn’t expect you to kill someone with one hand. If this were a movie, I’d think they were exaggerating—but now I see… maybe it’s not.”

The Princess smiled smugly, playfully, her eyes gleaming with interest. Just as she was about to say something, the radio buzzed to life.

Radio: “Status? Is it done?”

Zagh immediately understood—more people were on the way.
This was the perfect chance to separate from the Princess and split paths.

With a dry laugh, he said seriously:
Zagh: “I think we better split up. Looks like a whole army’s coming for us. If we stick together, they’ll find us faster.”

The Princess gave him a mysterious smile, staring into him, and said in a teasing tone:

Princess: “But didn’t you say if something happens to me, you’re the one who’s screwed? So if I’m not around… what then?”

Then she gave him an innocent little smile.

Zagh shot her a sarcastic look, then picked up the second guy’s rifle and held it in front of her.

Zagh: “Pretty sure I’m the one in danger here… not you.”

He glanced toward the fourth man’s corpse.

Then, without letting the Princess get too close, he stepped back a few paces, gripping the rifle tight. In the same mocking tone, he added:

Zagh: “I mean, how’s someone who kills barehanded supposed to be the one in danger?”
The Princess kept looking at him playfully. She took a small step toward Zag.
Instinctively, Zag stepped back—but subtly, so it wouldn’t be obvious.

The Princess crossed her arms with disdain.
Princess: “Then why did you hand me the gun?”

Zag chuckled.
Zag: “So… you don’t want it?”

He dropped the gun at her feet, keeping his usual calm tone.
Zag: “Suit yourself. One less clip to share.”

Princess (mocking): “And that extra clip is to protect yourself from whom, exactly?”

Suddenly, Zag’s expression hardened. He raised the rifle and pointed it straight at the Princess’s head.

Zag: “From you.”

The air shifted instantly. Just seconds ago, the landscape was filled with distant noises. Now, a deadly silence settled over everything.
Only the wind whispering through the mountains could be heard.

The Princess’s eyes turned cold and threatening, like a predator eyeing its prey.
But Zag stared right back, just as fierce, just as dangerous.
It wasn’t prey and predator anymore.
It was two hunters—circling.

For a long moment, the Princess held his gaze. Then, slowly, she raised her hands, like she was about to make a move.
But right then, the deep thump of helicopter blades echoed overhead.

Three choppers roared across the sky.

The lead one turned in their direction.

Zag no longer felt threatened. He let out a small sigh and lowered his weapon.
Then glanced at the Princess—
He still wore that hunter’s smile.
Zag couldn’t hold back anymore.
In his mind: I’d better make a move before we part ways… just so she knows where we stand.

He stepped toward the Princess, grabbed the lapel of her inner coat, about to say something threatening—
But his foot slipped on a stone.
He landed hard on his butt, the sound of tearing fabric loud and clear.
Suddenly, there he was—on the ground, holding half of the Princess’s coat in his hand!

Silence.

They both stared at each other, wide-eyed.

Then Zag couldn’t take it anymore. He burst out laughing.

Zag (half-dressed, laughing hysterically):
“BAHAHAHAHAH! B-Better… ahahahah get a new… tailor! HAHAA!”

He jumped up, took a few steps back, still chuckling.
Zag (smirking): “Sorry—totally not on purpose. Slipped.”

Just as he finished the sentence, the Princess reached out with both hands and ripped open his black turtleneck, hidden under a short buffalo-check jacket.

His bare chest was exposed—two toned, strawberry-colored nipples on pale skin.

Another moment of stunned eye contact.

The Princess grinned, smug and utterly pleased.
Zag clenched his jaw with a nervous smile.

Still holding his torn shirt, he muttered, half whining, half laughing:

Zag: “You didn’t have to retaliate that fast… a little warning maybe?”

The Princess’s eyes, however, were fixed on his bare chest.
Zag noticed—and couldn’t help teasing.

Zag (grinning): “What’s the matter? Liking what you see? BAHAHAHAH!”

He hurried to button his buffalo jacket—

Just then, the helicopters landed.

Fifteen men surrounded them in seconds.

An old attendant approached the Princess and asked,

Old Servant: “Do you require anything, My lord?”

Zag glanced at the servant, confused.

The Princess didn’t answer—she simply looked down at him with a blank expression and walked toward the chopper.

Two men grabbed Zag, forced him to his knees.

One of them drew a knife, aiming for his throat.

Zag, still grinning, quipped:

Zag: “Really? This is how you thank someone who saved your royal ass?”

No reaction. The air was heavy with tension.

The Princess didn’t pause he steps.

Zag (quickly, voice sharp):
“Do you even know who those attackers were? That was the Eagle Syndicate.
They tried to pin it on the Bears—since this zone belongs to them.”

She froze.

Zag continued, calmer:

Zag: “When we boarded the train, it was clear—those ten guys had never been on it before.
The Bears have used it for hits. So have the Rats—for meetings. But these guys? Total outsiders.
First group had Bear-marked weapons.
Second group? Eagle-grade rifles. Sloppy numbers, like they expected you to succeed alone—which is just the kind of arrogance the Eagles specialize in.
And yeah—after we ditched the train, they followed us. But thanks to my flawless navigation, they lost the trail.
Ran the moment your birds showed up.”

He flashed a smug smile at her.

Silence.

Only the sound of soldiers breathing lightly in their tactical masks.

Zag tilted his head.

Zag (with that familiar bite in his tone):
“Pretty sure the Boss wouldn’t want someone like me dying just because his little darling had a mood.”
The servant looked surprised and glanced at the princess, but with a simple flick of her eyes, the princess silenced him. He stepped back.

The princess sighed, glanced at the soldiers, and just as she was about to board the helicopter, her eyes returned—briefly but deliberately—to Zagh’s bare chest, fully exposed now that his arms were restrained.
Then she climbed aboard.

In a split second, the guards let go of Zagh.
The three helicopters vanished into the sky, leaving him behind in the snow with his torn clothes.

And just as they disappeared, Zagh threw his head back and shouted with all his might:

“You motherfuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!”
