When they woke up, the rain had stopped but it was still cloudy out. We should try to get through the field Lucian said standing up. Race you Cupid grinned as he stood as well. That sounds like a good way to slip and die Lucian hesitated. That's the challenge Cupid laughed and ran out. Ah wait up Lucian exclaimed racing after him. They bolted down the path, laughing and teasing. At some point the dead grass turned to wheat and the dirt path to gravel. I think this is someone's property Lucian pondered. Maybe Cupid shrugged. A burned and collapsed barn and house appeared on the horizon. Look a that Cupid pointed. There might be people Lucian smiled. The two of them sped up the pace and jogged to the edge of the land. Lucian's smile faded immediately. At least five sepearate skeletons sat in the yard. They were broken and being grown over by moss, but they were still clearly visible. Cupid grimaced as he knelt next to one. Look at these odd feathers he said. The feather he held was bright yellow on one side, and ultra marine on the other. I found the source Lucian whispered. What Cupid asked looking up. On the ground, slightly inside the barn was a girl lying on her stomach with blue hair and bird wings. She seemed half rotten like she'd died recently.
