Ashes of a Withered Bloom includes themes some may be sensitive to or find triggering:

Graphic depictions of fantasy violence, and gore, including descriptions of death. Power abuse, emotional manipulation, and fantasy racism. Graphic depiction of explicit sexual scenes. One scene of non-graphic sexual assault. 

The main character is a bisexual man, and this aspect of his identity will be depicted in later chapters. 

This is not a romance. The main character’s journey is marked by unresolved trauma, emotional decline, and ultimately, death.
