[ Memories successfully recovered. ]

[ Evolution conditions met. ]

[ Become a Survivor? ]

[ Yes / No ]

[ Selection confirmed: "Yes!" ]

[ Congratulations. You are now a Survivor. ]

My golden eyes opened slowly.

The bedroom ceiling was bathed in the diffuse sunlight filtering through the curtains.

[ WARNING: You have 1 unread message. ]

Before me hovered the system's transparent interface.

The memories of my past life—now fully restored—flooded my consciousness.

I drew in a slow, measured breath before exhaling.

— "..."

My eyes narrowed.

In that instant, I was hurled back to the exact moment of my death.

Spain lay in complete ruins.

After a month of relentless battle, I was the last survivor—kneeling at ground zero amidst a sea of mutilated corpses stretching as far as the eye could see.

Behind me, atop a collapsed building, a man stood motionless—dressed in an immaculate white suit with a black vest.

His long black hair cascaded over his shoulders as crimson eyes burned like live embers.

With fluid grace, he stepped forward and leaped into the void.

Mere feet from impact, his body halted mid-air as if defying gravity before touching down with surreal lightness—his right foot meeting the ground a heartbeat before his left.

He advanced toward me—regal and untouchable—a sovereign figure untouched by the devastation surrounding us.

When he stopped before me, I lifted my head and smirked.

My defiance clearly irritated him.

Even broken, exhausted, and on the verge of collapse, I showed not an ounce of fear or despair.

His movement was deliberate—his right palm opening before my eyes like an invitation to death.

Crimson energy erupted from nothing, swelling like a miniature sun until—

Silence.

Light.

Then—nothing.

— "...We're not done yet."

My gaze shifted to Alice sleeping peacefully beside me, serene as a newborn.

I turned fully toward her and, with extreme tenderness, traced the curve of her flushed cheek.

She murmured softly, bringing her hands to her face in an unconscious gesture of innocence.

I couldn't suppress a smile at her adorable reaction.

— "..."

As I recalled our night together, a deep remorse unsettled me.

No matter how much I wished otherwise, one inescapable truth remained: we were siblings.

In my past life, immediately after what happened, the disgust and guilt consumed me so completely that I vanished without even saying goodbye.

When the Cataclysm began, we were separated.

It took me five long months to find her again, and when I finally did, it was in the middle of a civil war, in what was supposed to be a military safe zone.

My last memory of her from that life remains vivid: the back door of the barracks exploded off its hinges.

And there was Alice—staggering through the wreckage, her face twisted in pain, before collapsing to her knees.

Her trembling hands pressed uselessly against the gaping wound in her abdomen, unable to stem the blood gushing between her fingers.

When she lifted her head and our eyes finally met, hers filled with instant tears.

— "A-Alan...—"

With uncontrollable tremors, she reached her left hand toward me.

Her lips curved into one last, fragile smile.

Then her body crumpled slowly, like a puppet with its strings cut.

Life had already left her before she even hit the ground.

— "...This time, I won't let you go. And I won't let anything happen to you."

In just two days, the world as we knew it would cease to exist.

Incest would be the least of humanity's concerns.

Reward: +4 Survival Points. ]

"Four survival points?"

Considering how hard it was to level up and earn Survival Points, gaining four before the Cataclysm even began seemed unreal.

— "Good morning."

Alice's sleepy, sweet voice pulled me from my thoughts.

When I turned to her, my heart raced at the sight: her face was visibly flushed, yet it couldn't hide the brightness in her eyes or the shy smile lingering on her lips.

She covered her face with her hands, hiding her nose and mouth in an adorable display of modesty.

— "Good morning."

My hand moved before my brain could process the impulse.

I leaned forward, my fingers firm as they cupped her chin, drawing her face closer in an inevitable motion.

I would no longer suppress my feelings—nor would I deny them.

And so—in an act that was both vow and sin—our lips met.

— "..."

— "..."

Our eyes opened in perfect sync.

She smiled, lightly biting her lower lip as she stared at me—an expression that, in that moment, stirred only one thought in my mind.

— "Want... to shower with me?"

Still biting her lip, she brushed her hair back with her left hand in a fluid motion that ended in silent invitation.

Her nod of agreement came with a spark in her eyes.

I grinned and stood, feeling her gaze follow me.

As I took my first step toward the bathroom, I heard her light footsteps right behind me—so close I could nearly feel her warmth.

Each article of clothing slid from my body before meeting the damp floor.

Inside the shower, the first twist of the knob unleashed a cascading roar as cold mist began to rise.

My palms opened to catch the first droplets—liquid tongues testing my resistance to the chill.

Alice removed my shirt—the one she'd worn as pajamas—and stepped into the shower with me.

Her hands glided along my waist, rising slowly to my shoulders.

I felt her lips kiss my back before her fingers traced one of the scars marking my skin.

— "..."

Alice embraced me from behind, her hands descending slowly down my abdomen until...

— "That innocent, sweet face hides so much..."

She smirked, her eyes fixated on what she held in her left hand.

— "I've always wanted to be like this with you. Now I'll savor every moment."

I turned to face her, and our gazes locked instantly.

Her lips curved again—more intensely this time.

A brief silence hung between us, witnessed only by the murmur of the shower.

— "I love you."

— "I love you."

The words left our lips in perfect unison, a harmonious echo lingering in the air.

— "...!"

— "...!"

A heartbeat of electric silence passed—before our laughter erupted simultaneously, filling the space with contagious joy.

She smiled, revealing her teeth as her hands traveled up my body to link around my neck.

Rising onto her toes, she kissed me.

My hands traced her thighs in a featherlight caress, ascending to her waist where my fingers tightened slightly.

My lips found her neck in a slow kiss.

Then I turned her gently, pressing her back against my chest.

Her palms flattened against the fogged glass as she arched backward, her curves fitting perfectly against my hips.

My left hand traveled up her spine in a slow motion until reaching her nape.

Then I tangled my fingers in her hair, pulling with a calculated mix of tenderness and force, bringing her ear close enough for my heated breath to reach it.

I could feel her entire body surrendering, silently begging for more.

Watching her like this was intoxicating—it set my body ablaze with desire, eager to push her beyond her limits...

My right hand slid up her thigh in a slow, deliberate ascent.

With every inch my hand advanced, I could feel—almost see—her goosebumps spreading.

And when I finally reached my destination, my fingers found the slick heat dripping between her legs.
