This year, this celebration will be different…

Hate has been very heated recently, and there’s no doubt about it.

Hate against immigrants.

Hate against genders.

Hate against people's sexuality.

Hate.

There’s hate everywhere and inconsequent actions surge upon them - from the governors, and presidents to common people (absurd, isn't it?).

Hate, hate, and more hate.

Amidst this ocean of hate and spiteful actions, we should persevere and protect those in need, in despair, and in the loss of hope.

Love is the remedy for hate, and it’s absurdly silenced in a frightening frequency.

Hate is strong. But love —

Love is stronger.

We need to move, act, spread the word, and spread love for our LGBTQ+ community (I’m demiaro - demisexual and aromantic) and for every human.

We need love, more than ever.

LOVE!

WE NEED LOVE!

AND WE CAN’T BE AFRAID TO LOVE!

They kill us for being who we are - women, gay, asexual, trans, immigrant - but they cannot silence our spirit.

In a world full of hate… 

we must spread love… 

at least that.

In unison, we are not weak.

In unison, we are not easily silenced.

United, we can do better.

United, we rise, love and fight.
