Yet you played slick,
Like we ran the same game.
What gave you the right?
What a lie you did serve!
You barely knew me—
But pop goes the nerve.
Selfishness laid the ground,
Audacity slayed the game.
You ignored me like
I wasn't around— insane.
You aren’t even worthy of a mention,
But look—
I wrote a satire for you,
So the scores should even the odds.
Nonetheless— I'm honest, but you?
No roots, no bonds,
Still you swerved.
So quick to cut—
Pop goes the weasel.
Polluted the emotion,
Corrupted the honesty,
Poisoned the relation,
Served the foolery.
Too much gallantly.
I'm disappointed in me—
That I thought you were a friend.
How could I be so blind?
You dumped me like I'm dead.
I'm still amazed
How you face me each day.
We sit in the same class—
Doesn't it scare you? Anyway—
Thanks for the lesson.
I'll give you a tip:
The lesson I've learned—
By seeing you,
Snakes should wear a drape!
