Delilah slipped one hand in the pants of Blaze’s pocket squeezing his goods, her manhandling was enough to distract him while the other took away the platinum chain.

She then let go and after examining the chain and reading the name on it Delilah couldn't hide her outrage.

Azalea and the others were left speechless since no one expected such an outburst in the heat of the moment.

She couldn’t help but question herself,  how did she ever think this clown was boyfriend material was beyond her, did he really think the world revolves around him?

It was still early morning and there was a slight chill in the air.

Azalea didn’t know if she shivered from the cold air or the fact that everyone was gaping at them and looking forward to the spectacle. 

Growing up Azalea was desperate for affection especially as her father remarried and her step sister stole all the limelight.

When she finally got some attention on the BlindCupid App and dated this guy she thought Carlisle had genuine feelings for her until she was dumped by him since he was relocating. 

It took her some time to heal her broken heart and feel better about his moving on without her.

After Carlisle she dated Brian and when her step sister Janet stole Brian away from Azalea it was not as unbearable as her break up with Carlisle had been.

Azalea never thought she would run into him again and certainly not at Mercy Academy. 

Her hands clenched at her side, her past was back to haunt her as this ex scumbag was trying once more to ruin her life.

She had always felt in the relationship that Azalea liked this jerk more than he liked her. 

Clearly, Delilah was the one that got away, he even followed her all the way to Mercy Academy and anyone with eyes could see that there was a slight resemblance between the two.

Azalea was taller with moss green eyes while Delilah had violet eyes and a beauty to the right of her lips but the similarities between the two female conduits was glaringly obvious.

As Carlisle’s early admission into Mercy Academy drew closer he became less attentive to Azalea. 

He no longer carried her out on dates or splurged on gifts for Azalea.

All his funds must have been funneled into impressing Delilah so she could introduce him to the Mercifuls. 

Everyone from Meadowbrook expected great things from Carlisle, he had recently advanced from B-Class to A-Class and the expectation was that he would eventually become S-Class. 

Thanks to his increase in mental powers his popularity increased.

His rich family rode this wave of opportunity and had high expectations of Carlisle. 

So much that they spared no expenses when they willingly sponsored the renovations for the upgraded sports complex at Mercy Academy. 

The Mercifuls were only into having the popular and strongest members in their little group. 

Even now sweat beaded on Carlisle’s face, Azalea had been nothing but kind to him in the past even when he stepped all over she always doted on him

Right now, he had no feelings for her but Carlisle loved her adoration but still he was willing to trample on Azalea’s feelings if it would enhance his reputation with the Mercifuls. 

Delilah who was a pass around, a favorite female conduit of the Mercifuls, acted like the Queen Bee and always bullied the other female conduits who she felt were lesser in status.

In Carlisle’s mind he quickly formulated a plan to embarrass Azalea whom he knew that Delilah felt threatened by for some strange reason. 

He felt that Delilah was not lacking in any shape or form, it was Azalea who was inferior in comparison and by letting Azalea learn her place in the hierarchy at Mercy Academy.

Without a doubt Carlisle would gain more favor and rise in Delilah's eyes once he gained his S-Class powers Delilah would become his. 

Delilah scoffed, “So you had been warned by Carlisle and yet you still managed to crawl into Mercy Academy like a sneaky rat.”

She poked Azalea in the chest making her back up towards the edge of the fish pond, which was what she wanted.

To shove Azalea into the pond and ruin her reputation and get her shunned by the other Mercifuls. 

Delilah added provokingly, “You might have come from the same hometown but that doesn’t make you equals. 

At Mercy Academy, Carlisle is now in the A-Class. 

Carlisle is one of the Mercifuls now, have some pride and realize that a loser like you cannot even think to partner with a Merciful as the gap in classes is too huge.

Where is your self esteem your a fool to think that you could get back together with Carlisle.

Is it because you try to copy me like that obsessed stalker in the movie single white female. Just face it, you can never be me, you are better off getting plastic surgery than to continue to make a fool of yourself around us.”

Most of her friends burst out into laughter only a few like Blaze and his close friends were quiet and just silently watching the spectacle unravel. 

Azalea didn’t know if it was a good or bad thing that Thorn wasn’t around to see her thoroughly brought down to size and demolished by Delilah. 

When Delilah had glimpsed the name on the pendant her heart had boiled with rage as Thorn was one of the few that spurned her advances. 

If he gave that dog tag to Azalea it meant that he thought highly of the bitch and that rankled on Delilah’s last nerves no one can replace her while she was still alive and breathing. 

Many female conduits had been driven crazy by the torment and pressure placed on them by Delilah and her friends.

The fact that she had the powerful Mercifuls as backing made many too scared to report her to the authorities at Mercy Academy. 

When she was younger Azalea would never believe that Carlise would allow his friends to badmouth her so openly but now that she was older and wise, she had enough. 

“I don’t give a damn about your opinions or those of your useless friends. You and Carlisle can go to hell in a bucket of shit for all its worth. Carlisle was the one chasing me but because I wouldn’t give up the goods and spread my legs easily he moved on to something that would. Both of you are dumb as rocks if you think I care about something as stupid as having prestige at Mercy Academy. I have no interest in joining your shitty group so give me back my belongings and scram.”

Azalea exerted all her strength  to grab back the platinum chain out of Delilah’s hand.

It was so unexpected that it shocked Delilah who lost her balance and ended up in the fish pond instead of Azalea.
