Once they finished cleaning, they went outside to rinse their rags out. Yew was dressed and sitting in the sun to dry his hair. Meanwhile Vermillion was standing next to the bathhouse with his bare back turned to them. He was only wearing pants as he tied up his long white hair. Cupid raised an eyebrow curiously, staring not so respectfully. Lucian blushed and nudged Cupid. The well is that way, boys Yew said not even turning to face them. Ah right they yelped in unison and scurried off. Eventually they had all gathered in the main room to eat lunch. It was quiet and sort of awkward for several minutes before Lucian spoke up. So he announced, Vermillion would you join me and Cupid in our mission to kill the king. Vermillion nearly spit out his tea. I'm sorry what he asked composing himself. Please Lucian begged, your regenerative abilities and four arms could be incredibly useful. Oh.. Yeah.. Of course Vermillion sighed. You should go Vee Yew smiled thoughtfully, I mean at best you become a hero and at worst you get totured in the royal prison for the rest of eternity. Cupid and Lucian exchanged nervous glances. Vermillion made a face that Lucian found concerning. It looked like desperation.. Or fear. Now then the three of you can leave in the morning Yew told, I'll pack you up some things. Vermillion's hands were shaking and when he noticed he quickly wiped all emotion off his face. Okay he said, thank you. Nightfall came soon and as Cupid lay in the dark next to Lucian he watched the ceiling. I think there's something wrong Cupid whispered. With Yew and Vermillion's relationship Lucian asked, I completely agree. I hope that Vermillion going with us will help him Cupid sighed. Lucian reached down to grasp Cupid's hand. Me too he mumbled.
