Ryu laughs weakly.

No, no, just give me a minute. I guess I’m a bit nervous. I had a whole speech planned. But now that you’re actually here my mind is drawing blank.

KAI

RYU

Kai laughs giddily.

KAI

RYU
I mean in a more than friends way.

KAI

He asks in a soft voice.

RYU

He tries to pull his hand away, but Kai holds onto him.

KAI
Don’t. You’re not. It’s quite the opposite.. lately I.. had these very confusing feelings around you. But I never thought about dating a guy before so.. I..

RYU

KAI

RYU
I’m going to hug you now.

Kai laughs.

KAI
Okay.

The lights are turned on. They separate and look at each other, Ryu is grinning ear to ear, Kai is clearly flustered.

Ryu cocks an eyebrow.

RYU
So, confusing feelings, huh?

KAI
Yeah…

RYU
Do you think a kiss would help clear things up?

KAI

Ryu continues smiling at him.

KAI
I mean, the kiss would be.. okay.

Kai blushes and looks away before nodding.

Ryu kisses him softly and pulls away, but Kai reaches out instinctively to pull him back for a proper kiss.
