Moss, and its Many Uses

Moss might seem boring and useless but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

There are so many wonderful and useful ways to use moss.

 We Will Start Off with Sloot Moss

Sloot Moss is a slimy and moist moss that is most commonly found on rocks by rivers.

Uses

If you have a nasty cut, grab some Sloot Moss and apply it to the wound.

The moss will dry and harden turning into a natural Band-Aid.

The Next Moss is Sleen Moss

Sleen Moss is an uncommon variety of moss exclusively found in the Northern Highlands.

Sleen Moss happens to be shaped like little pine trees.

Fun fact: this type of moss is also called the Mini Forest Moss, isn’t that cute?

Uses

If you take Sleen Moss, dry it out and then put it in a boiling pot of hot water you get Sleen Tea.

Sleen Tea has a very earthy taste with slight minty undertones.

It’s great on a crisp spring morning.

The Next Moss is Heen Moss Also Known as the Blanket Moss

Heen Moss is an uncommon species that can grow up to 10 feet in length. 

And is mainly found in the Northern Lowland but can also be found all across the Northern Continent.

Uses

If you’re in need of a blanket in the wilderness, Heen Moss has you covered literally.

If you pull the moss from the ground, thoroughly wash and clean it.

You will end up with a cozy blanket perfect for cold nights by a fire.

I personally sleep in a blanket of Heen every night.

You can also use it as roofing for your house.

 It’s very good at keeping heat in your home.

And it’s also very water absorbent so not even a drop of rain will ever get in your house again!

Fun fact: When you pull Heen Moss out of the ground, there’s a chance you'll find a little gnome underneath the moss and he will probably yell at you. 

So make sure to put the moss back in that case.
