Aether is admiring a painting alone in the corner when Kuni approaches him and stands quietly beside him.

“Hey, cool painting huh?” Kuni cringed at himself, real smooth Kuni real smooth.

“Hey,” Aether smiles at him briefly and goes back to observing the artwork.

“Ahem,” Kuni clears his mind and blurts “So wanna go out for a date or something with me?”

“What?” Aether is taken back, staring at Kuni.

“What?” Kuni asks innocently.

“Seriously Kuni, I know your social skills suck but you really are asking me for a date right now?”

“Yeah.”

“On a university trip- In a museum?”

“Mhm” Kuni nods and he's met with Aether’s amused yet horrified look.

“I'm speechless.”

“You can take your time with the answer.”

“It's not about that - there's a time and place for everything Kuni” Aether mentions exasperatedly, “And I don't even if I’m interested in you.”

“Come” Kuni says as he grabs Aethers wrist and brings him to a separate room from the hallway, it's a resting area with no one in sight, after all no one comes to the museum to rest.

“What are we doing here?”

“For privacy.” His answer is followed by silence so he continues,

“So, uhh Do you wanna try dating me? I know this is out of nowhere and it must feel really awkward but give me a chance.”

“You are serious.”

“You think I wasn't?”

“I- I just never looked at you in that way and not to mention, you have always been so mean.”

That made Kuni blush from embarrassment, he blames the past him for being such an idiot, he still is but no one talks about that.

“So is that a no?”

“Hmm Honestly, not exactly, but I honestly don't know what to do in this situation.”

“Easy, just try dating me.” Kuni said easily but there was a plea in his gaze.

“Okay, let's give that a try.”

“What?” Kuni says in a surprised tone.

“Why are you surprised? You're the one who suggested all this.”

“I-I just, anyways, so we are doing this.” Kuni turned red the the thought, putting hand over his face to hide the blush and cutely whispers to himself “Yes”

“Wow, you must like me to be reacting like this.” Aether says surprised and feeling a bit shy knowing about Kunis true feelings now.

“Mhm, so now what?” Kunis' statement caused Aether to start laughing.

“Oh Kuni, you're the one who asked me out, how can you ask me that?”

That made Kuni walk up to Aether and hold his face tenderly in his hands, closing the distance between them but Aether interrupted that by holding out his hand to Kuni’s face.

“What are you doin?”

“Kissing you.” Kuni stops on his track, letting go of Aethers face and now gently holding Aethers stretched out hand.

“What? Where did that come from?”

“We are dating now.” Kuni deadpans and gently kisses Aether's wrist, gently holding Aether by his waist now.

“We just stared and you want to get physical already?”

“Humans are lustful creatures.”

“Who are you? What have you done to Kuni?”

A laugh bubbles out of Kuni and he lets go of Aether and starts heading towards the door leading to the hallway, “I was just joking, lets go, it's almost time to head back.”

Aether quietly follows behind, still comprehending the whole situation. They head back to the guest room with the class as the visiting hours are over, the rest of night goes by casually as they head to their beds. It's safe to say that no one knew Kuni was not joking with Aether and genuinely thought people kiss the first thing after they start dating.

‘I really needs some help to get through this’, Kuni thinks to himself as he lays down to sleep, ‘I can’t funkin believe I went for a kiss like that jesus Aether must think I’m an animal or something but what the fuck do people do when they start dating?’

Kuni slowly fell asleep thinking back to events of the day, not knowing that longer and more embarrassing days were ahead of him.
