It was a cool dusk, three full moons shining bright on Bright Moon.

She could just about see their celestial light through the fabric of her tent at camp if she snuffed out her lamp.

It was nice to just gaze up at them sometimes. Let your thoughts drift down to a hum. It was a serenity you could fall asle- 

"PEARL, I NEED TO VENT TO YOU," Gem whisper yelled, barging through Pearl's tent door as much as she could barge through two pieces of fabric.

It took a second for Pearl to drag herself back into reality.

"Is it about yesterday?" She whispered back, still only half focusing.

Gem, noticing her divided attention, lit the lantern. "Pearl, we talked about this."

Pearl spread a mothy wing and gestured to it, smiling awkwardly.

Gem sighed. "Can I start venting now?" she sighed.

"Yeahyeahyeah, full attention now."

"You know that warrior princess from yesterday?" Gem began.

"Pretty hard to miss," Pearl replied.

"Did she look familiar to you too?" Gem asked.

Pearl nodded.

"I found out when they were all in the palace and she was joining the Rebellion that she's actually She-Ra!"

"Like from the myths?" Pearl gasped.

"Like from the myths!" Gem parroted.

"...Still don't see how that's a bad thing." Pearl said.

"She's a Horde soldier!" Gem whisper yelled, gesturing wildly with every syllable.

"Hey, even Horde scum can change," Pearl threw back.

"But-"

"Your village, I know, and my parents. Knowing the Horde, she probably didn't have a choice."

Gem sighed again, willing to let her bestie win for now.

"But I'll bet you a tenner the next one's a spy," Gem smirked.

Pearl laughed, "Make it 20 you coward!"
