As Kaiya and Ronan met up with the others. They seemed to be planning there next big club game. Apparently, this was the norm for every festival minus of course having a new player aka Ronan. "Oh Ronan-san? Finally you made it?" Yasu patted him on the back.
"Who was that woman you were with huh? You ain't trying to be a Womanizer?" She teased while nudging him playfully. "N-no, of course not it's just some random coworker of Luke" He explained with a light stutter while trying to keep a nonchalant tone.
"Well let's begin the games!" She nodded As Ronan seemed absolutely clueless. "Games? What do these entail?" He asked with intrigue. "Well it's simple my friend, just playing the games at the stalls and overall just having fun!" Yuuchi explained like he was a pro at this.
"Mhm, just have fun!" Nayu exclaimed along with the group. "Oh hey Nayu.. sorry about last night" He replied with an apologetic sigh as Nayu walked up towards him holding his hands which oddly enough created warmth.
"It's fine..." She smiled tilting her head to the side. "It's no big deal you were just having a bad day" she added without any sign of aggression nor hostility.
Was he really just off his head all this time? "Well then Nayu" he held her hand tightly, "Let's have fun I guess" He smiled truly for the first time ever without a source of any sarcasm nor annoyance.
So begun the night of fun, there was a large bountiful crowd that had arrived during the festival it was Nanmokus most sacred festival of course. The group had so much fun, even Ronan found it somewhat enjoyable.
There was many games at the festival like the fishing duck game, shooting targets, even lottery for a rare penguin plushy. Ronan thought this night would last forever however soon it was the time of the bonfire...
"Oh... I didn't pick a partner, my dumbass" He sighed face palming forgetting that he was too paranoid over Nayu so much that he forgot about the traditional dance.
This bonfire was like an offering to the Goetias of course the townsfolk believed they were good guardians, so Ronan didn't think much of it. However, he had remembered there's also a dance during the burning and he hasn't picked a partner for said dance.
"Hey, don't worry Ronan-san! Take my hand" Kaiya smiled leaning out her hand with a smile with a grin that had to be protected. "Tch... You're making me look embarrassed" Ronan looked away as his cheeks turned pink.
"Huh is it so wrong to ask a girl to dance with you?" She hummed with a thoughtful gaze. Ronan then took her hand, "Fine... Let's do this I guess" He stuttered. Not really knowing how the dance went...
"Don't Worry Hayu! I'll lead you just follow my steps" She nodded with a smile while holding his hand. They both interlocked hands as Kaiya guided his moves, it was a simple dance, a type of dance you'd see in a Ball.
Which made Ronan all the more nervous sure he had spoke to girls before and even had celebrity crushes however getting this close was something new. Ronan was more of a delinquent than the romantic type at the end of the day.
As the two danced in peace and serenity, minus the height difference Ronan had an idea it almost appeared like a glowing lightbulb in his head. The fires danced in the night beautifully as Ronan lifted her into the night sky.
"O-h?! R-ronan?" She exclaimed with a blush as Ronan had his arms around her sides still lifted up. "Sorry that was kinda out of left field for me.. anyway" Ronan exclaimed with a shy voice. "It's fine actually, I like this side of you" Kaiya explained.
