Over the next few weeks the two grew closer as friends each day, even going to each other's house for playdates and sleepovers. But then one day Valery didn't come to school "Ok" thought Sam "She's probably just sick, I hope she gets better". Then the next day she didn't come to school again "She's probably still sick". She didn't come to school for two weeks straight and that's when somebody finally told Sam the truth "She moved away, without even saying goodbye.". He had lost his first friend in his new school. "Why" he thought "Why me? Why does every good thing that happens to me have to go away?" "Why?!". The next day, ( a Saturday ) Sam just lay in his bed watching Youtok shorts then "AHHHHHH!!!! The skibidi toilets are after me!" What the?" Said Sam he just scrolled off the video. The next day his parents told him to go outside cause they thought he was just being lazy. So he went outside and sat under a tree with a book and just read the book. Then the next day of course Sam had to go to school, so he did. Then the day after that he went to school only to find out there was a new student named Aiden. Once he heard about Aiden, he wanted to at least try to be friends with him. So the next day he asked "Hey Aiden right?" asked Sam in a polite voice "Yeah" said Aiden "So, I was wondering if you wanted to be friends?" asked Sam in an eager voice." Um, sure why not" said Aiden "I'm Sam by the way" "Well nice to meet you Sam" said Aiden "Wanna go play on the swings or something?" asked Aiden "Sure" replied Sam. So they walked over to the swings and started swinging. After a couple weeks the two became the best of friends even going to each other's house. Until one day when Sam was going  home he felt as if something was off, as he walked through the door he saw his father laying there unconscious, barely breathing "DAD!" he yelled his father unresponsive. He picked up his father's phone from the table and dialed 9-1-1.
