Kas suddenly woke up, startled by the same damn nightmare; hyperventilating and with his heart palpitating; he was slowly coming back to reality, he focused on the cold porcelain sink, the slightly humid floor under his feet, looking back at him, his disheveled face on the mirror, his hair was slightly hardened from last night's unwashed blood. After calming down, Kas noticed that Edgars was soundly sleeping, not wanting to wake up his friend, he leaves the bathroom and silently closes the door behind him.

The sudden morning light hurt Kas's eyes, leaving him to try and remember the path he took last night, taking him to that living room. Sunlight was beaming through the windows, curiously, a fine dust was spiraling through the air.
Laying on the couch, pretending to sleep, was Ajax, his hair was messy in a gorgeous way, his slightly exposed chest moving up and down with his slow breathing, upon witnessing this, Kas rolled his eyes and went to a sunny spot on the floor, sat in a meditation position: "You must have a lot of questions, don't you?", Ajax smiles, and slowly sits on the couch, "Wow, not everyone is this perceptive... what gave it away?", Kas opened one eye "I've never seen a human sleeping so nicely, so you're either awake, or not a human"; Ajax let out a hearty laughter, "You have a lot of familiarity with humans, don't you?", Ajax begins to write, "So, for a starter, why are you following... what was his name... Edgar?", Kas throwed a sideways look at Ajax, "He saved me", Ajax stopped writing for a second, slightly shocked, "Really...?", "Do i need any other reasons?", Kas answered completely serious; Ajax chuckled softly, and continued to write.

The morning light invades Melchior's room, that right now, was trying everything ion his power to keep sleeping just a little more; after noticing it's a lost battle, he grumbled and slipped out of bed, before getting out of his room, he noticed the eerie silence that permeated the city outside, no one was walking the calming paths of the village, no drunk stumbling his way home, not even the birds were singing; a chill ran down his spine, but Melchior did his best to ignore this, finally getting out of his room, ready to start his day.
Upon going down the stairs, Melchior finds the Druid and the historiographer talking to each other, like old-time friends; under the morning light, Ajax looked like the most beautiful men that ever was, his soft laughter, his charming messy hair, Melchior got weirded out by these thoughts invading his mind, and suddenly, Ajax turns, throwing a sharp look at Melchior, instantly softening after noticing who was there; "Oh, our host is awake, where are my manners...", he said while getting up from the couch, tidying himself.

A sharp pain stung through Edgar's head, certainly more manageable than yesterday's; and the first thing that he saw was Kas's dark eyes looking back at him from behind a curtain of hair, "You look awful", his voice came out scraping the back of his throat; the Druid laughed, "Look at your situation", Edgar was "laying" in the most uncomfortable way possible, almost on the limits of the human body, and most shockingly, he was comfortable, Kas held out a hand to his friend, "C'mon, we have a long road ahead of us".
