“You know it!” He winked.  She looked at him like he was dizzy. He had truly gone mad! “What makes you think that all girls like you?” Elena lifted up one eyebrow. “Oh, baby girl no need to hide it. Now let me tell you who I am in case you don’t know…”   he cleared his throat, “Start knowing me by Mr. Charming I tell you what? Before I started dating Daniela, they were all over me wanted me to be their own. ‘Oh, Enrique Oh Enrique please let me be your mate’ they would cry, but my heart from that very moment I saw her I knew it belonged to her. She was so shy you know to look at me…she even thought she wasn’t worthy of my love.”  “That’s why I wonder when he says he likes her Arturo I doubt that girl loves me! What is there to love about Arturo???” he added. “I doubt!” he screamed. “Behave yourself!” she commanded him. As if on a train station he was yelling so loudly.  “And I don’t know Enrique, but you know with girls you can never know…if she really loves you that much maybe it’s something that he has that we don’t know off that she’s probably obsessed with,” Elena finally shared her thoughts. She wasn’t so far off she could tell by reading Enrique’s reactions.  “Something he has like- hmm,” he held his chin.  “In that case let’s go see her then let’s resolve this issue once and for all!” Did he just- Knowing that he wanted to start drama Elena immediately rejected his offer.  “Where do you want to go??? Enrique, please look at your condition!”  she screamed. “And already you want to go and start another fight do you want to kill yourself?!”  “Wait what- No no Elena what you are saying is not what I’m thinking of,” she gave him the side eye, “Like on a serious note Elena fighting I’m done.  I just want to go confirm if she really likes him as he said or if he’s just making up stuff…”

“Hmmmmm” she let out a little laugh.  “Don’t think you can fool me Enrique what about your pride?!” she lifted up one eyebrow. “No no Elena forget it! I’m done with fighting for once I just want to know if Daniela really loves me. I can’t just blame Arturo you know?” he said. “Hmm I like the sound of that,” smiled Elena, “but how should I be assured that you are telling the truth?” still doubting she gave him a suspicious look.  “I promise please Elena just believe me for this once. What do you think? This is why I’m inviting you to come with me…” he begged. “Hmm okay then. But if anything happens, I’ll call my brother!” she warned him. Enrique felt a certain pain in his chest.  “Oh Felipe, right?”

After one hour…

They finally reached at the girlfriend’s house and were knocking continuously but no answer.  “Why is she not answering? We’ve been standing here for like centuries,” Elena was now irritated talk about being pissed!  Enrique’s obsession with his girlfriend was now starting to look pathetic.  His facial expression gave off him about to cry like a baby… 

He went to see through the window. “I’m actually getting tired of this. Did you find something? What’s all this Enrique?!”  “Hey hey relax, okay? She’s going to come now just give it time she must be probably busy with something,” Elena rolled her eyes. Just then they heard footsteps…. Enrique finally gave off an evil smirk as if to say, “Come again girl?”  Anxiously standing outside right at the door they waited for the girl to open but no hope. Instead, the footsteps were going backward and then forwards again.  “Did she just ditch us?!” he screamed.  His anger could now be seen from his fiery eyes. He was now turning all red ready to lose it with her! “Hey, calm down, okay?”   Elena attempted to calm him down by rubbing behind his back, “See what I told you? You already burning with anger, yet you haven’t faced the opponent yet,” she added.  “Stay away Elena!!!” he yelled so loud least people should hear him.  Luckily, they were in a more quiet area so there was barely anyone.  “I’m I’m-” he held her hand in his, but she immediately and roughly let go of him. “Elena I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to yell at you like that,” he said. Leaving him with no answer instead she turned to go. He quickly paced after her before she gets out of sight. “Please Elena,” he held her back, “I can’t do it without you.  I won’t do it again okay?”  She rolled her eyes as if not to believe him. He held her hand, “I promise you,” he assured her. She nodded. “But what now? She won’t open what do we do now? Push the door open huh?!”  Enrique held his chin in wonder… “Hmm actually if you think about it…yeah actually yes.” 

Elena’s eyes opened wide in shock. Was he mad?!

But she let him do it. Approaching the door, he pushed a little, he called Elena to come and see seems like it had been open all along.  They got inside. “Oh, wow seems like we in. But where’s your girlfriend?” asked Elena. But Enrique could tell his attention wasn’t focussed on finding his girlfriend she was just admiring the house instead.  They heard footsteps…

“Let’s follow those tracks.” Elena suggested, Enrique slowly followed, and they both continued slowly by slowly. It’s like they could hear footsteps, but they were not finding her.  Finally, they reached the living room.  Elena immediately pointed to the curtains. They could see some shape or figures…

“In the curtains? But what would she be doing there???” asked Enrique in suspicion.  “I don’t know but it’s the only best place I could think of,” she replied, “See there there’s someone,” she added, “Actually two people!”  “Wait what?!” Whether he admitted or not Enrique himself was also starting to feel insecure the more he looked at the curtain…

“Don’t mind me Enrique just go,” he felt someone on his shoulder it was Elena. She urged him to go and find out. As he walked, he looked back, Elena kept nodding yes.

Finally, he reached the curtain. He took a deep breath. He held the curtain softly.  His hands were sweating what if what if-

He thought of what Elena had mentioned earlier. “But no…” he convinced himself, “my girl loves me she could never do such!”

Opening the curtain, he was amazingly shocked by what he saw. The girl jumped to her feet unable to even stand straight. “Daniela! Daniela!!!” he kept screaming her name. “Enrique what happened?!” Elena finally rushed in a hurry only to find him fainted-
