When the paramedics arrived they rushed to save his father and get him to the hospital. Sam asked one of the paramedics if he could ride along and they said yes. They then rushed his father into the ambulance, Sam getting in after them. The ambulance drove off to the hospital while the paramedics were trying to save his father. Once at the hospital they carried his father away on a stretcher, one of the staff told Sam to sit and wait for his mother to get there, so he did. Two hours later, his mother still hadn't arrived but the doctor came out to tell Sam the news "He's dead, we tried everything we do could but his heart couldn't take it anymore.". Sam sat there shocked and sad. He didn't cry or anything he just sat there not knowing what to do. Three hours later, his mother finally arrived at the hospital, once she walked in she spotted a doctor and walked over to him "Excuse me " said the mother "Is my husband okay and where is my child?" "Oh, Miss Woods so glad you could finally join us." said the doctor. "What do you mean?" asked Miss Woods "Your son has been waiting for you for five hours." said the doctor "What?" said Miss Woods "I was only contacted about this an hour ago and it takes me an hour to get here from my work" "Huh" said the doctor "Well that's strange, you were supposed to be contacted FIVE hours ago" "Is my husband okay?" asked Miss Woods "Unfortunately, no he was announced dead three hours ago"  "Well where is my son?" "He's in the waiting room and by the way, he already knows about his father's passing" "Okay, thank you doctor" said the mother as she walked away. Once in the waiting room she looked around for Sam and spotted him, she started walking towards Sam noticing that his expression was blank as if he were emotionless. She ignored his expressionless face and walked up to him "Hey Sam" she said but got no response "Um, I'm sorry I wasn't here with you" no response "Please answer me Sam" no response "Are you-" he cut her off "Where were you?" asked Sam in a shaky, but angry tone.
