“I am… your death.”
Those words rang in the air like thunder.
Suhaan stared at Rudra, stunned.
Then… he saw them.
Rudra’s eyes — glowing red. Alive. Burning.
Suhaan’s breath caught in his throat.
His fingers loosened. The knife in his hand slipped.
Clink—Clatter!
It hit the floor.
And then—
Thud!
He fell backward, trembling in fear.
His voice cracked, “Wh-who the hell are you!?”
His eyes didn’t move from Rudra’s face.
“They… they turned red! How… how are your eyes turning red!?”
He crawled backward, panic rising in his chest.
“Leave… go away from here or else…”
His hand scrambled on the ground.
He grabbed the knife again, holding it with shaky hands.
“I will kill you!”
Rudra didn’t move.
His eyes, still glowing, stared deep into Suhaan’s soul.
“I know…” Rudra said quietly,
“…what you did to her child.”
Suhaan’s body jolted.
His knees buckled as he tried to stand.
“Uuurrghhh—!!” he groaned.
But those words… they struck harder than any blow.
He froze.
And again, the knife slipped from his hand.
Clatter.
Behind them, Nari... unconscious…
But even in that state, her lips whispered:
“Jay… Jay…”
“No… no—you're lying!” he shouted at Rudra.
“You’re making this up!”
He looked Rudra up and down.
“You don’t have a knife. You don’t have a gun.
Then tell me—”
His eyes widened.
“—how will you kill me?”
He tried to get up again.
His hands shook. His legs wouldn't move.
Thunkkk!
He dropped to the floor again.
His voice trembled.
“W–why… am I unable to stand up…?”
