Episode 6

INSIDE - The Hallway

Fenneco walks, leading the way, following behind her is Earl, then Dan and Bennie, Dan who is wearing a big bulky knight's armor and suit and Bennie, wearing a thief outfit.

DAN : (Groans tiredly, The armour is heavy.) “Why..why was I the only one who..who's wearing this..?”

Bennie walks normally alongside Dan.

BENNIE : “Well, you’re the one who said you wanted to be the paladin, and I said I’d be the cleric, and then Earl would be the rogue of our party!”

DAN : “Ugh..but you guys are just wearing an extra cape!”

BENNIE : “Cuz that’s what a rogue and cleric wear!”

DAN : “But what about Fenneco? She’s not even wearing anything new!”

BENNIE : “That’s..that’s different.” (Bennie gets a bit embarrassed) “I can’t make Fenneco do human stuff with me..”

DAN : “What? That’s not fair—Fenneco!” (Dan calls to Fenneco)

At the mention of her name she raises her hand to shush them. 

FENNECO : “Shush. You will alert the others.”

They fall quiet again and keep walking. 

EARL : “So..where are we headed?”

FENNECO : “The control room. It is the only place with a window. We may be able to see why we have stopped.”

EARL : “But..wouldn't there be a lot of you guys in there?”

FENNECO : “Ah..no. It is a deserted room. The ship usually is on autopilot.”

EARL : “Oh.”

They keep walking and eventually Fenneco stops when a door appears. Fenneco carefully pushes it open and looks inside to see no one. They all go inside the room.

EARL : (Sarcastic) “Wow..this room is..interesting.”

DAN : “Really? But there’s nothing in here.” 

EARL : “Yeah, I was being sarcastic..” 

Earl looks at Dan and Dan looks absolutely confuddled. 

EARL : (Sighs) “Nevermind. Where’s the window?”

Fenneco walks up to the panel and she taps it two times before dragging her finger up and around, it lights up with her touch. Then, in a large window spanning all through the room, the window gets untinted and it shows a whole new planet that the ship has landed on.

(streetwear colored themed (Grays, blueish grays, and brown), covered in trees and stuff, which is planet Cutost)

DAN : “WOOOAAAHHH”

BENNIE : “I SAW THIS IN A MANGA!”

FENNECO : “Did I not say to be quiet?”

They quiet down and explore.

EARL : “There’s..a lot of trees.”

Fenneco turns her attention back to Earl.

FENNECO : “Ah..yes. Trees.” (She looks at the information log on the control panel, staring at a hologram) “They are pretty similar to the ones on your homeplanet. They even produce oxygen. Though..the species living here is..” (She pauses not knowing how to describe them) “Not like yours.”

Earl stares at the window a bit. 

EARL : (Curious) “Is there a way to open the window?”

FENNECO : “Excuse me? No.”

DAN : “Awh, what? Really?”

FENNECO : “Yes.”

BENNIE : “Actually, there should be a way if I read the manual right.”

Fenneco mentally face palms.

EARL : “What manual?”

BENNIE : “This one! It was in the compartment here.”

Bennie points to a slot under the control panel. Earl walks over and looks into the book. 

EARL : “I..can’t read this.”

BENNIE : (Laughs) “Well—that’s because it’s not in your language. You can still tell what to do from the pictures though!” 

Earl looks in the book and Fenneco walks up to them and takes it out of Bennie's hands.

FENNECO : “Did you all not want to see the reason the ship has stopped? Quickly go look through the window so we may leave.”

BENNIE : (a bit bashful and nervous) “Ah—right.”  

They all head over to the window and they see Diane talking to a..cucumber thing? And they start walking towards the entrance gate. Suddenly they hear footsteps approaching. They all look at eachother and immediately start to hide. Fenneco quickly re-tints the window and she sees Bennie motioning her over to hide in the closet thing in the side of the room. She heads over and closes the sliding door, Then she sees Dan struggling to hurry to the closet and she quickly shoves him into the closet and they all huddle up and listen in to who is walking into the room. 

ALIEN 1 : “The shouts were heard from here?”

ALIEN 2 : “That is stated in the report.”

The two aliens look together through the room, failing to see the closet.

ALIEN 2 : “It..all seems in order.”

ALIEN 1 : “Affirmative. We should report this then.”

The Aliens exit the room and they all hurry out of the closet. 

DAN : “Oh—Where’s Earl?”

Fennecos head whips around and stares at the group.

FENNECO : “no.”

She turns to see a stack of boxes covering the wall, she immediately starts to move them out of the way. She sees an opening, a door. 

FENNECO : (sighs) “Of course.”
