“Finally, you’re here! Where have you been? Be a proper doctor!” the husband snapped. Tian was startled and took a step back. His pupils widened as he recognized the man’s face—it seemed familiar. Kihyeon approached Tian and whispered,

Tik, tok, the clock’s hands ticked with every movement. The tension in the room was palpable. The husband’s gaze never left Tian’s, and this feeling made Kihyeon uneasy.

“So, you’re the one harassing my wife?” the husband asked. The wife held her lover’s hand tightly, squeezing it.

“Long time no see, Daehyun,” Tian replied. Daehyun curled the corners of his lips, showing his arrogance toward Tian.

“You’ve become a doctor, huh? Congratulations. But I’m not here to celebrate. I married your sweetheart, pfft.” Tian frowned before saying, 

Wait—Kihyeon still didn’t understand. Weren’t they supposed to check on the pregnancy? But it didn’t make sense to have a pregnancy check-up with a general practitioner. Was this some kind of love drama?

“You think I’d believe that? Didn’t you force my wife to be your girlfriend?” Daehyun pressed on. Tian didn’t answer; he just chuckled softly. Yejun stopped Daehyun just as he was about to slam the table again.
