“Well, this is a surprise. Care to introduce me to everyone?” I asked with a smirk.
“Of course, I will introduce you from the highest rank to the lowest, naming what each of them is known for.” Loretta agreed.
“First, on my right, we have Princess Charlotte ray Urislanda, second princess of the Kingdom of Urislanda, from which this city is from. She is known for her masterful ability to play politics to favor her desired outcome.” When Charlotte was mentioned, she smiled and gave a little wave.
“Next, the three girls with the Royal Purple hair, starting from right to left, are Princesses Fiona, Tiana, and Flora ray Osarith. Fiona is also a master of politics, but her true talent lies in her ability to make effective laws or decisions to fix or solve the issues within a kingdom. Tiana is a master diplomat capable of easily gauging what is needed to achieve the most desired results. Flora, on the other hand, funnily enough, is an agricultural master. She can easily determine effective locations for different plants, and she even has a personal garden where she develops new types of plants. The greenhouses in the city are all products of her design.” When each girl was called, they each gave a little bow.
“Moving on to those on my left, we have Rosanna ray Monrose, a daughter of a Ducal house. She is a talented researcher and inventor, though you wouldn’t think that is the case with her serious personality. Her first invention was a magical item that could be fastened to horses, which kept them from tiring. Believe it or not, she did this at just 12 years old. Since then, she has invented countless other items that have become essential in the kingdoms where we are from.” When she was mentioned, Rosanna, who was sitting up straight, gave a curt nod in my direction.
“Next on the sofa to my left, we have Elizebeth ray Zethya, daughter of the Ducal house of Zethya. Known for her novel policies that bring booming population growth and high employment. Many territories use her policies as an outline for population development.” The girl with the blonde hair and golden eyes blushed at the mention of her achievement.
“Then we have Claudia ray Fletchgard, from a Marquessate House, known for her tactical acumen. She is a talented commander who even has experience leading her kingdom’s royal army, albeit as a disciple of her kingdom’s Commander in Chief.” The girl with the silver hair and grey eyes sat up straighter, seemingly to look more intimidating.
“Lastly, but certainly not least, is Alena ray Dathora, perhaps the youngest individual ever to have achieved the title of Master Mage. At only 15 years old, she mastered the 6th-level spell Greater Mass Teleportation and learned the 7th-level spell Lesser Area Teleportation. Now at 17, she has over 12 different 6th-level spells and 3 7th-level spells. She is on track to reach Grand Mage in the next 3 years at this rate.” The girl with the pastel blue hair gave a cheerful smile upon being introduced.
After introducing everyone, Loretta paused for a moment to let me commit everything to memory. I then introduced myself and Lilya, though I kept it short as they knew who I was. With introductions out of the way, I then started with the main reason for coming here.
“So, have you decided on your answer? I’m assuming that the fact that you are introducing me to these fine girls means that you are cooperating?”
“Well, sort of. Everyone here understands that we need to cooperate. However, plenty of the artisans and guildmasters aren’t so understanding of the situation. If you wish to have them cooperate, then going to them in person is the best way to do so.” Loretta explained clearly, anxious about my response.
“Very well, if that is the case, then you have no problem with me turning all of you here and now, correct?”
A few of the girls had a look of reluctance on them, and Loretta looked to the others, seemingly sensing their apprehension. After a couple of moments, Charlotte spoke up, her voice childish yet seductive.
“I know everyone here has a high position in each of the kingdoms we are from; however, right now we are all given a choice, we can be turned, become immortal, and have the ability to reach heights we would never be able to as a human. Sure, we won’t be accepted by our family, lose our positions in the kingdoms we are from; however, we all have older siblings who are more than capable of fulfilling their roles without our help. The other option is that we, along with the rest of the city, will be turned into blood bags and vampire experience. I think the first option is actually quite appealing, all things considered. So much so that I am willing to go first, with that said,” she turned and stared directly at me. “So, Will von Mortis, I want you to turn me first.”
It was a good speech, and I could sense her resolve; however, I had other plans for the order to turn them. So I spoke up.
“Sorry to burst your bubble, princess, but you can go second,” I said with a smirk. Then, turning to stare straight at Loretta, I said. “Loretta, I will be turning you first. “
