“Sorry to burst your bubble, princess, but you can go second,” I said with a smirk. Then, turning to stare straight at Loretta, I said. “Loretta, but I will be turning you first. ”

When I said this, both Charlotte and Loretta looked startled.

“Is there any particular reason why you wish to turn me first?” Loretta asked after calming down.

“Yes and no. You are the governess of this city; it's only fitting that you lead by example. No other reason besides that. However, after turning you, I will be going in rank order so the princess can go next.” I explained.

“So you wish to turn me right now?” Loretta asked anxiously. 

“That is my intention,” I smirked. 

“Then let's get it over with.” She said, seemingly working up her resolve.

“Good, now in order to turn you, I need you to come here,” I stated.

When I said so, Loretta got up from her seat and then came over to me, standing directly in front of me. I also stood up, my body a good head taller than hers. Then I leaned over and bit into her neck, beginning the process of turning her. Once I did so, just like Lilya, I was able to live her memories, all her happiness, pain, sorrow, joy, warmth, ups, and downs, everything from the moment she was born till now, I was able to experience it all with vivid clarity. Once the memories reached the end, I felt the cold, piercing feeling of Loretta biting my neck. And just like with Lilya, I then spoke to her through our bond in our minds. 

『So, Loretta, how are you feeling now that you're a vampire? You can answer through your mind.』

『Stronger, more in tune with mana.』 She responded.

『Good, I’m going to turn Charlotte next.』 With that, Loretta finished feeding and then moved back to her original position. 

“It’s your turn now, princess,” I announced with a smirk. 

“You are enjoying calling me ‘princess’ way too much.” Charlotte complained, “So, do I go in front of you just like Loretta?” 

“Yep.”

With my affirmation, Charlotte got up and came over, then I repeated the same process I did with Loretta and turned her. After that, I turned the three sisters, repeating the process each time. Following the sisters, I called up Rosanna, turning her the same way. However, after turning Rosanna, I called out to Elizabeth, who looked shook. I called out a few more times with no response. The other girls started to worry and started calling out to her, and finally, after Charlotte shook her, she came out of her stupor.
“I’m sorry, but do I really have to be turned? I was set to get engaged to the crown prince of the Kingdom of Derringer, and this was something that my family has been working towards for generations, so I don’t want to throw all that away.” Elizabeth explained her voice trailing off into a whisper.

When hearing this, the girls in the room had conflicted looks.

Elizabeth, seeing this, continued speaking.

“I know I am being selfish as you all got turned despite your positions, but this was my family’s one chance to finally marry into the royal family of Derringer.”

Seeing that Elizabeth was starting to get worked up, I made a decision.
“Elizabeth, while it might not seem like it due to my cooperative stance I have shown up to now, I’m a Vampire Progenitor, and a very powerful one at that, meaning the fact that you were offered up originally which you didn’t speak out against and now that I am in the middle of turning you all you decide to speak up against it isn’t just a refusal it’s akin to trampling the authority and dignity of not just myself but Vampire Progenitors everywhere. And you better believe that things won't end well if this is how it ends. If you sincerely think that because you are going to be engaged in the future to a human that you can just refuse a Vampire Progenitor, then you are being naive. Let me be very clear about something: a Vampire Progenitor’s nature is extremely petty when their image is trampled on. Luckily for you, I am a very patient and forgiving person. But do not think for a second that you or anyone in this city is in a position to refuse me. I was hoping that you would all be more understanding of your situation and be cooperative without me having to be forceful; however, it seems that an example needs to be made.” And after saying that, I instantly closed the distance between me and Elizabeth. Until I was right over her. “Unlike Origin Borne and Blood Descendants, a Vampire Progenitor is more than capable of turning someone against their will.” After which, I swiftly bit into Elizabeth’s neck and began turning her. I could hear startled yelps of surprise and fear throughout the room. 

After experiencing Elizabeth’s memories just like every other time, I felt the cold stinging sensation of Elizabeth biting into my neck. 

Once she finished, she hurriedly pulled back in obvious shock, and tears began forming around her eyes. I moved away and continued turning the rest in silence. The girls moved over to Elizabeth to comfort her. 

After I finished turning everyone, I then spoke up. 

“Now that you have all been turned, it's important that you all have a Blood Attendant. As of right now, my clan can have 34 more Blood attendants. From your memories, I know that everyone here has a personal attendant, which means that if you turn them, then there will be 25 slots left. That means that Loretta will have to fill in the remaining amount.” Turning to face Loretta, I continued. “Based on your memories, I saw that there are 31 attendants who are blessed. I expect you to turn the most loyal and trusted among them. Furthermore, you have 150 various House soldiers ranging from footmen to sergeants. In addition, you have 25 House knights who are blessed. I want to turn all the House Knights into Blood Champions, who will then turn their families. As for the 150 various soldiers, based on your memories, about 16 of them are worth turning into Blood Champions. However, the individual whom I am most interested in is the High Elf Mage who resides here. Not only is he blessed, but he is an Arch Magus, which means he is 7 ranks higher than Alena over here, meaning he can at minimum cast at least one 14th-level spell, which would be a huge asset to the clan.” After I finished speaking, Lilya spoke to me privately through telepathy. 

『Didn’t you tell me the other day that only humans can be turned because they aren’t created by any of the gods? This Arch Magus is a blessed High Elf; shouldn’t it be impossible to turn him?』
