As Callum sat there, taking in all that had just happened, his thoughts fell on the cursed merpeople. 

These creatures were like nothing he had ever seen before. They were hairless, with blue skin, and had razor-sharp teeth, and their eyes, he couldn't forget their eyes, which had absolutely no pupils and were darker than the darkest part of the ocean. It was almost like these creatures were void of any souls.

"Callum, you had your first encounter with the cursed merpeople and lived to tell the tale."

"Lived to tell the tale?"

"Yes, you lived to tell the tale because you see only a few have survived an attack from the cursed merpeople, and it would appear that you scared them away with your soundwave."

"Soundwave?" Then he remembered the blast of energy he emitted that scared the cursed merpeople away.

 When he felt like they were in danger, he began to feel a burning heat radiate in the center of his core, which built up until he could no longer hold it in.

"Let me explain to you about your power of soundwave."
