Meep meep meep meep, I slowly open my eyes, there's a white sheet covering my body and there standing it’s… Richard?

“Hey…” Richard

“You wake up” Richard said while he smiled at me with a caring gaze.

“I'm so glad you woke up, I'm so sorry Alyce, It's all my fault I didn't know you were driving. I should've asked, I'm so sorry.” Richard starts sobbing intensely

I can feel his guilt.

“It's okay, how- how is my baby girl? Is she okay? What did the doctor say?”

“She's okay, you only hit your head with the steering wheel, but the baby it's okay” Richard says while holding my hand softly. 

He's known me for over a decade now, we went to school together and now we work together, he even went to my wedding. 

Wait, my wedding, HOW IS MY HUSBAND?” WHAT HAPPENED, PLEASE TELL ME EVERYTHING”

“There was nothing left, I'm so sorry Alyce” 

“No…. No… no no no NO, WHAT HAPPENED?” HOW DID IT HAPPEN?” I scream, nurses come running into the room, Richard steps back to give me space to mourn.
