Man, wuh happen with dese children tuhday

It like dem just don't seem tuh hear

You caan tell dem anything at all

Because of you they do not fear

Back den you cudda tell them sein

And they'd listen attentively

But now you hit, dem cry "ABUSE!"

And wan' call de police fuh me

Dese children real disobedient

And dem always being rude

I wud really tell them sein

But right now, I ain't in de mood

I wud discipline my children

And dem would NEVER hit me back

Cuz' de day dat dem ever give me backchat

I wuh give dem a real hard smack

We really need tuh do sein

About dese children of tuhday

All of dem wud be much different

If I had it my own way

They would be respectful always

When they're walking down the street

Instead of being hostile and cursing

Every person that they meet
