Cloaked in fog and tradition, they value restraint, clarity, and balance above all. Their rules are many—but their honor is absolute. 

Leader: Xuan Wei 

(Wěi) Great, mighty, grand A reserved and deeply spiritual master, 

Xuan Wei embodies the Shuilan Clan’s highest ideals of clarity, wisdom, and restraint. Though calm in presence, his aura commands quiet respect. Beneath his composed exterior lies a fierce devotion to his family—he has raised Xuan Luo and his brother Xuan Rin, guiding them with patience, protection, and unwavering care. 

Name: Xuan Rin 

(Rin) means continuous gentle rain, symbolizing calm, nurturing strength—perfect for a composed, kind older brother.

The Lin Clan’s ancestral estate is shrouded in thick mist and framed by towering pines and jagged cliffs. This remote, rugged sanctuary has long stood as a fortress against the encroaching darkness of the world. An ancient and fiercely proud lineage, the Lin Clan is renowned for its unyielding spirit and indomitable warriors. Masters of spiritual talismans and swift, lethal swordsmanship, they embody both grace and deadly precision. Though once shattered by a devastating betrayal, their legacy endures. 

Name: Lin Qianyu 

(Qiān) means thousand 

(Yǔ) means feather or wing 

Matriarch of the Lin Clan and devoted mother to Lin Ye, Lin Qianyu embodied fierce grace and unyielding strength. 

She wielded the legendary sword Wisteria Shadow and sacred talismans, weaving ancient power with every strike. In the shadow of betrayal and fire, she sacrificed herself to protect her son, sealing him with a mystical talisman and a mother’s love that would endure beyond death.

Baizhu Village- 

Location: Nestled in a tranquil valley beneath the southern peaks, 

Baizhu Village is embraced by towering pines, terraced fields, and dense forests whispered to be home to spiritual creatures and hidden powers. Morning mist lifts to reveal a land where nature’s mysteries intertwine with everyday life. 

Path: A humble farming community, the villagers honor the arts of cultivation from afar, living simple lives while respecting the unseen spiritual forces that dwell in the surrounding woods—guardians of the land they cherish but do not seek to master. 

Raised by his uncle, Lin Ye spent his childhood in this village. 

Name: Lin Qingshan: Lin Ye’s uncle 

(Qīng) means green, blue, or youthful, often symbolizing vitality, freshness, or nature. 

(Shān) means mountain, symbolizing strength, stability, and endurance. 

Lin Qingshan is a disciplined and steadfast guardian, embodying a firm but caring approach to mentorship. 

He carries the weight of responsibility with quiet strength, balancing high expectations with genuine concern for Lin Ye’s growth. Patient yet unyielding, Qingshan strives to guide Lin Ye toward maturity and mastery. 

Nam: Lin Shen 

(Shēn) means "deep," "profound

Lin Shen is Lin Ye’s lively and good-natured cousin, known for his playful teasing and sharp wit. He enjoys sharing jokes and lightening tense moments, often poking fun at the lofty reputations of noble cultivators with a healthy dose of skepticism.

(Mù) — means to admire, to long for, or to aspire to. 

(Fán) — means ordinary, common, or mundane.
