After I asked that I waited for Elizabeth’s response.

It took a couple a couple of moments for it to come, and when it did, it came quietly and hesitantly.

「Why?」

「Why what?」

「Why do you expect me to simply forget the fact that you forcefully turned me, in turn ruining generations of my family’s effort? Not only do you want me to let it go, but you want me to use my skills to manage something that you consider extremely important. Are you not worried that I will purposefully do a bad job to get back at you?」Towards the end, I could tell that she was holding back tears. I took a few moments to come up with an answer. Despite my earlier attempt at encouragement, I realized that they still have the mindset of a human. I then started to give my answer.

「I don’t know what I can say to put you at ease, you must remember that despite my True form being 40018 years old, the body and memories I have now, despite looking like an 18-year-old, I am comparable to a newborn. The only difference is that I have the nature of a Vampire Progenitor, which comes with the mindset of a dominator; not only that, but I have the chaotic mix of 10 separate personalities and memories. I have yet to form my own personality, while at the same time, I already have the worldview of an immortal. I already see humans as individuals with a lifespan that is a mere speck in time compared to my infinite lifespan. I know this doesn’t answer your question, but apart from that, I am still learning about the world. When you refused to let me turn you, my instincts as a Vampire Progenitor kicked in. Yes, I understand now that to a human, what I did was forceful and loathsome, but for me, it was survival and necessity. If it were found out that someone who was offered to be my blood consort straight up refused and I didn’t forcefully turn them, I would be seen as weak, a pushover, and easy pickings. Others would flock to try and control me, and I would be living a never-ending battle to maintain autonomy. I have already fought for my survival since the moment I was awakened. I will not allow myself to be seen as easily controlled. So I will say this again to you, you are now a being with an infinite life span, the Blood Consort of an Original Vampire Progenitor, and you can no longer think as a human would, you must think long term, I am not telling you to cast aside your origins, what I am telling you is to use your expertise to bring prosperity to an immortal clan. You might not have the best opinion of me now, and you might not have the right mindset of an immortal, but eventually, that mindset will change, it could be in the next 100 years, or it might take 1000 years, it could even be longer, but when it does happen as I know it will, you will become a huge asset, one which would allow the clan to flourish. That is why, despite our rough start, I still chose you to become a manager, because I am thinking as an immortal would, not a human.」

I paused, letting Elizabeth think over my words. 

From our connection, I could tell that while my words did little to soothe her grieving heart, they provided a reason for my actions. While she might not entirely agree with it she seemed to understand its necessity. 

「Okay...」

Her answer when it came was so quiet I almost missed it. I could tell that while she would still need time to calm down, she was willing to cooperate, and that was all I could ask for.

[Very good. I will now teleport everyone to the main bedroom within the castle so you all can infuse your coffins into the bed. After that, I will teleport each of those I mentioned to the District Management Chair of each future district. Once you bind yourself to the District, your senses should then be synced to it while sitting in the chair. You will then be able to use the mana of all individuals who reside in the district to do large-scale projects to enhance the district. I will explain more about it later on.] After I said so, I teleported myself along with all the girls to our bedroom. Then I guided them to infuse their coffin into the bed as Lilya and I had previously. 

After doing so, I teleported the girls whom I chose as managers to the chairs while teleporting the rest of us to the throne room. 

One by one, I felt as each girl bound themselves to the Management chair. Elizabeth was taking a little longer than the rest, but that was to be expected. Once I felt the connection form, I teleported them all back to the throne room. Once we were all seated, I returned my attention to the Blood Champions and their families, who were waiting patiently this entire time. 

“Thank you all for patiently waiting. I will now finally be assigning you your plots. All former House knights will be given plots in the capital district. The 16 former House soldiers will be divided into four groups. One group will be composed of the six House Soldiers with families who will be given plots within the Residential district. Another will be composed of the four House soldiers who were already married but without children; they will be given plots in the Agricultural District. Finally, the remaining six will be split into two groups of three; one group will be given plots in the Industrial district, while the other will be in the Commercial district. I will first be showing the former house knights their plots so they can get settled. After that, I will follow the order I mentioned for the grouping.” I paused, letting my words sink in before I stated.

 “But before I assign you your plots, I need to explain to you how to edit them.”
