Episode 9

OUTSIDE - Planet Cutost

We follow Earl as he had snuck away from the ship and is outlining the fence surrounding the village.

EARL : “Great! Now..I just gotta find a ship. Shouldn’t be too hard.”

He looks over the fence to see only trees.

EARL : “Okay well, I’m sure it doesn’t make sense for a Spaceship to be so surrounded by trees..”

He keeps going around the fence, but there’s absolutely nothing.

EARL : (muttering to himself) “Ugh..out of all the alien planets I land on..”

Suddenly he spots a big hill (the monster), in the distance.

EARL : (a lil unsure) “That looks like..a potential spaceship.”

Earl makes his way towards the hill. And then he stands in front of it.

EARL : “So, not a spaceship..probably. What..is that?”

He reaches out to touch it, but then stops.

EARL : (Catches himself) “Wait, no. That’s stupid. Just focus on finding a spaceship, Earl.”

He walks past the hill, looking on the other side. He crosses it and its eyes open up and it steadily opens its mouth. 

EARL : “Ah cra—” 

Earl gets cut off by someone shooting a blaster at the monster. He looks towards the source to see a wooden mobile. Fenneco is standing near the front, aiming her blaster, Bennie is sitting in the middle, fiddling with a holographic screen along with Candy on his shoulder, and Dan drives the thing, reaching out to Earl. The monster stumbles back a little, but looks over and immediately starts to charge at them. 

DAN : (alarmed a little) “Earl!!! Get over here!”

Earl quickly grabs Dan's hand without the mobile stopping and he gets pulled on.

DAN : “Sheesh Bennie! Couldn’t you have taken the wheel???”

The monster lunges at them and Dan quickly turns it to dodge, Fenneco keeps shooting.

BENNIE : (Bennie says this quickly) “I’m doing something VERY VERY IMPORTANT!”

FENNECO : “None of my shots are taking effect.”

Bennie quickly types, and he lights up.

BENNIE : “Found the weak point! The bone of the supraorbital ridge is especially soft!”

DAN : “Dumb it down!”

Dan turns again to dodge.

CANDY : “Above the eye! Above the eye!”

Upon hearing this, Fenneco lifts up the blaster, and she taps a button, making it expand and look more like a sniper. 

FENNECO : “Understood.”

Then, when she takes the shot there’s a bump and she misses. She immediately gives Dan a glare.

DAN : “Whatttt?? That’s not my fault the road’s full of rocks!”

FENNECO : “Keep it steady, Dan.”

DAN : “Ughhhhh, (Mutter this part) so demanding, these guys..”

Dan spots a wide and big rock up ahead and he speeds up.

DAN “Alright! Hold on! We’re going upside down!”

EARL : “Wait, what—?” 

Dan quickly makes Earl keep speeding up, when they get to the rock, right at the edge, Dan pulls up to make the car go upside down above the monster, Fenneco shoots the eyebrow part, and Dan spins back into the seat, quickly putting it in reverse before having a rocky landing down. They all sit for a moment, and the hill sort of explodes. They all get messy. 

CANDY : “Yay!!”

Candy jumps up and she and Bennie high five.
