Chapter- 4:

Accomplice?

Mikoshi and Amayki, dash through the God's realm, Draventhyr. Hiding so they don't get caught, Mikoshi pants, exhausted from all the running as she carries a staff which is in reddish yellow color.

“Hah…hahh… this, is taking way to long! You said we'd find another world's portal! But we can't find anything!“

Amayki groans, also holding a staff in cyan blue color. She peeks outside the wall, seeing the God's searching, there are also more of their people out there, but they can't seem to find them.

“Well, I'm trying okay! There's just a lot of chaos going on!“ She hurriedly says.

Another teleportation portal opens up nearby, leading to the world, Earth. Amayki's eyed widen, a chance! She grabs, Mikoshi's hand and they both make a run for it.

“C'mon! We're getting closer!“

Mikoshi nods, holding onto her staff as they both reach the teleportation portal… it looks like… sky? Amayki raises an eyebrow.

“Sky? What's this?“ She asks, confused.

Mikoshi shrugs her shoulders, not knowing how to respond to that.

The God's notice them nearby the portal and yell,

“There are more people from, Thalorion! Get them!“ 

Mikoshi's eyes widen in alarm, as she holds, Amayki's hand tightly and they both jump into the teleportation portal without thinking.

Amayki gasps as she looks down, buildings?! They're above the sky! Mikoshi and Amayki fall down at a quick pace, not knowing what to do. Mikoshi screams.

“AHHH! what do we do?!?!? I'm going to die before I can even start finding my brother!“ She yells, scared.

Amayki gulps as she tightens her grip on her staff, she holds it down and replies to, Mikoshi's hurried yell.

“Give me a second! We'll get down safely!“

Mikoshi clings to, Amayki as Amayki waves her staff down below them, and just as their about to hit the ground,

“Water ball!“ 

Amayki casts a spell, a ball of water appears underneath them, and they fall down onto thr ground, the water softening their fall. But it still hurts like hell tho.

Mikoshi rubs her back, her face furrowing in pain as she grunts.

“Urgh…”

Amayki rubs the back of her head, as she opens one of her eyes and looks around at the unfamiliar surroundings, suddenly, she notices a man with bunny ears and a little girl with wolf ears… she blinks a few times as she holds up her staff, protecting, Mikoshi.

“Who are you?!“ She asks.

Revaer flinches, as he raises his hands in surrender, dropping his weapon as Mivazi does the same, near, Revaer's legs as she trembles in fear.

“We're from the world, Elarion. My name is Revaer Kainen and this little girl is, Mivazi Delanin. We… mean no harm.“ He replies, carefully selecting his words.

Mikoshi stands up still feeling the pain from the fall. She glares at both of them, not trusting them at all.

“Not quite believable. A wolf and a bunny? Quite a uncommon duo.“ 

Mivazi trembles, as she looks at, Mikoshi. Hiding behind, Revaer.

Revaer sighs as he replies, worriedly but sincerely.

“Please… we really mean no harm, me and this little girl cannot find anymore of our people, they might have been teleported to different spots of this world. Believe us…” 

Amayki narrows her eyes, trying to see if the two have any intentions…it doesn't seem so as she puts down her staff.

“Me and the girl beside me are from the realm, Thalorion. My name is Amayki Rexila, an half-axolotl and half-human as you can see. And she is…” she glanced at, Mikoshi. “You can just call her, Miko. She is a half-koi fish and half-human.“

Revaer nods, slightly smiling at, Amayki's trust and he responds.

“Great to meet you two. I was wondering… if we could be partners, or accomplices if you prefer. It could benefit the both of us.“

Amayki raises an eyebrow at the offer, she looks at, Mikoshi. In the situation their in… it will be better to have more people but, Mikoshi and Amayki glare at, Revaer and Mivazi. As Mikoshi asks.

“We just got into this world. There is absolutely no reason for us to stick with you two.“

Revaer flinches at the sudden change of heart, but it makes sense. Strangers whom aren't even the same species asking to team up? Anyone would be wary. He looks at the both of them, and replies sincerely.

“I promise, I won't do you any harm. Me and Mivazi have been alone for a while, and the Earthlings always seem to hunt us down… we don't have any bad intentions.“

Amayki raises an eyebrow, as she answers bluntly.

“Dude… if we team up with you doesn't that mean that we'll also be targets of the hunt?“

Revaer flinches, he didn't think that these girls would be smart. He chuckles nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

“Hahaha-! I assure you… no harm will come your way… but please-!“ He bows suddenly that causes both Mikoshi and Amayki to get startled, “Please, team up with us!“
