Maybe it’s because she was Erin’s mother, but her tone left no room for argument, to which Ulrich could only nod his head.
“Good, now let's go.”

Erin’s family began packing the few family heirlooms and other objects of sentimental value into a large sack.
They were done about twenty minutes later, after which the group left the house and began walking through the streets, making their way to the city wall.
It was a quiet walk and they had almost reached the city wall when Ulrich caught the sent of something that sent him into a panic.
Vampires.
Not just any Vampire, but a Blood Consort and two Blood Attendants, and they are nearby.
Ulrich began to look around the skies, but couldn’t see them.
‘Must be invisible.’
Since the Vampires seemed to be aware that something was up and were patrolling the walls, Ulrich decided that the best course of action would be to charge to one of the gates. Thus, he relayed his plan to the rest of the group, and they changed their direction.

『Will, I have eyes on the Werewolf Progenitor. Would you like for me to engage?』Loretta’s voice rang through my head.
『Are they causing problems?』I responded.
『No, but the Werewolf Progenitor looked in the sky at one point, after that, they changed their direction. They are now moving towards the northern gate.』
『Hm, let them be, notify the guards to let them through without issue. They will be a good source of experience for the future. Werewolves are notorious for their ability to quickly grow their forces as well as replace losses. Once they grow to a certain point, we will be able to send Vampire Kindred to get experience for evolution. Also, they won’t be able to do any harm to us even well into the future, so it's more beneficial to let them be. Have one of your Blood Attendants follow them at a distance.』
『Understood, letting the guards know now. Also, I will be sending Grace to keep track of
them.』
『Is that everything?』
『Yeah, I still need to take care of a few things in the city, but everything should be ready for when you return in the next three days.』
『Great, with everything settled, I will be going back to doing my thing, cya.』
『Bye!』
With that, the report ended.
‘Well, I spared your life, Werewolf, grow for me, because when you do, I will be using you for all you are worth to strengthen my clan. Without a Warden to have to constantly defend against, I can play with you as much as I want. If it goes well, I can start ‘helping’ other Werewolf Progenitors find an Origin Luna and then farm them as well. This idea just keeps getting better and better, so don’t keep me waiting, Werewolf, because I have so many plans for you.’

Ulrich and his group continued along the road, unaware of the fate decided for them by the Vampires.
Upon reaching the gate, the group tried to act as naturally as possible.
However, surprisingly, the guards nodded to them and just let them through. No questions, no hold up, not even the usual procedures for going in and out of the city. And that scared Ulrich even more.
‘Do the Vampires want to deal with us outside the city? Were they unable to find us, so they just allowed anyone to leave without issue, so that it allows them to identify us?’ Possibilities kept playing in Ulrich’s mind, but after having walked for about ten minutes without being attacked, they were now safely away from any eyes of the city.
“That was too easy. Something is up. Everyone needs to transform, and we need to leave this continent now.” Ulrich commanded with a low growl.
When he said so, everyone immediately transformed into their Werewolf forms. Everyone except Erin was surprised when it happened since the transformation happened forcefully at Ulrich’s command. After that, Ulrich gave another command.
“Follow me, make sure not to lag behind.”
After saying so, Ulrich bolted, and the rest of the group followed, their bodies moving on their own. Unbeknownst to them, a Blood Attendant trailed them, watching them closely, as they began their journey to travel to and create their new home.

Meanwhile, Redovus Supercontinent, Central Back Region, Clan Hemokis
Alexander was anxiously fidgeting on his throne. Ava, who was sitting next to him, looked on in concern.
‘Damn it, the Vampire Council is pissed. The Originals and their few allies are upset that I attempted to control another Original. The others are mad because I failed. Although a majority of the Vampire Progenitors are in the Control Faction, it is almost entirely composed of younger Progenitors, who are only tier one. The Originals Faction has almost all the Tier two and higher Progenitors. Although there are only sixteen of them, not counting the Originals, the fact of the matter is that even the lesser clans within their faction have more power than several of the lesser clans within the Control Faction combined, It doesn’t help that the majority of them are under siege, leaving most of them on their last legs. This is not good. I need to hurry with my plans to wipe out the Southern Original Progenitor. The issue is that the four clans of the Southeastern and Southwestern Regional Alliance, who are all part of the Original Faction, have both of those regions on complete lockdown. Already, three of my clan’s Vampire Barons have been eliminated trying to go to the Southern Region. Now, the Original Clan Dracula of the Central Back Region is putting pressure on me, constantly harassing my clan with those annoying raids. Why do those annoying Originals have to be so strong? Not only that, but their shrewdness and ability to completely outmaneuver everyone else, if only I had control over that stupid Original, then no one would think to mess with me.’ Alexander's worries trailed on, his expression getting uglier and uglier. He is currently on the back foot, which means he needs to find a way to change that. The only question now is how, and at what cost.
