Athan slowly opened his eyes and was met with the azure color of the delightful morning sky that stood above the ground, filled with clouds and the presence of a bright star that shone upon the land.
He was laying on the grass, trying to comprehend what had just occurred to him. However, he couldn't think of anything. Tilting his head from side to side, his vision was occasionaly getting, slightly, blocked by white strands that came from above his forehead, unable to discern what they were. He streched his head forward, looking down at his body, which was covered up by a white cloth exposing only his arms, legs and a bit of the chest area.
At last, he mustered up all the strength he had and managed to get off the ground, standing with a sense of confusion. As he looked around, his vision fell upon a pond of water that was not far from where he originated, and his interest peaked. He was intrigued by every single little thing that he was seeing, and that small body of water appeared to be the only thing that was different besides the blades of grass that were decorating the ground he stood on. So he went towards it. Or at least he tried, because it only took him about a step before he succumbed to his weakness and plummeted towards the ground, falling head first onto the grass.
Athan let out a small grunt as he came face-to-face, with the ground. It was quite evident that someone who just came into being could not, in fact, bring out his full potential (or even a small piece of it in the current situation). He laid there for a few moments, before he decided to get himself up again for a second time, still unable to deduce what was the cause of his failure to move. Rising up once more, eager to reach the pond, he slowly started to advance towards his destination, letting out sighs here and there, until he finally made it right at the edge… before collapsing yet again. It wasn't an issue to him though. He had done it. He finally made it to the place he had set his sight on, and needless to say, his curiosity was about to be satisfied.
As his gaze fell upon the water, its purity made it so clean, that it could mirror everything that was shown upon it, that's when he saw it… his face.
A young man he was, at the peak of male youth. The mystery of the strands on his head was solved, for they were merely his hair, white in color. His face was clear and smooth, accompanied by eyes enchanced with a gilded golden shine. Athan stood still, staring at himself, lost in the illumination of his reflection.
It was the very first time he saw what he looked like.
A sudden breeze came by and softly caressed his face, breaking him out of the stance he was stuck in, diverting his gaze elsewhere, on a piece of land that had flowers grown on it.
They were all small and fragile but their elegance and beauty was a marvelous spectacle without a shadow of doubt. Athan crawled closer to the flora that stood proud nearby, growing more intrigued by the second. There was a yellow one that resembled his eyes, gleeful and bright and also a white one like his hair, pure and peaceful.
