Heavenly Demon Reign

The Boy With No Name (Part 1)

The Boy With No Name (Part 1)

Jul 21, 2025

In a Room of Strange Peace...
Soft winds filtered through half-open windows, carrying the scent of something alien yet familiar—mountain snow mixed with blooming lotus petals. The room was bright, painted in gentle whites with delicate hints of soft blue. The architecture was unlike the cragged, sharp forms of sect palaces Wuxie was used to. This place had elegance, with curves flowing like water, designed to soothe rather than to intimidate.

For a moment… peace was all he knew, but the next question was where was he? why is his head all blank?.

Who was he? What was he?

His head felt light, not just in injury—but in emptiness.

He didn't remember his name.

All he knew was that he… existed.

Suddenly the doors eased open.
Two figures entered, both in maidservant attire, soft blue robes with the crest of three clouds interwoven by golden threads sewn into their shoulders.

"Ah! He's awake!" one gasped, her delicate features lighting up in surprise.
"Quick, inform the Master," the other whispered as they hurriedly bowed.

Before Wuxie could even form a question, the sound of soft sandals echoed from the hallway. Into the tranquil chamber stepped two more figures:

A tall man, with calm, composed features. His robes were not of aggressive wealth, but carried refinement, patterned with subtle cloud motifs, threads of silver marking his sleeves. His Qi was warm, unlike anything Wuxie had ever felt—like sunlight reflecting off clear water.

Beside him stood a young but mature woman, around thirty something or in her twenties, dressed in lighter azure silks, hair bound with twin jade clips. She looked curious , uptight, but not guarded.

The man offered a bow—not stiff, but smooth, like someone who had long mastered etiquette.

"I am Elder Huo Wenjian, of the Azure Sky Cloud Sect. This is Senior Marital Sister Mei Lian, an instructor. You are safe here, child. You were found unconscious near the Western border of our territory, barely breathing."
"We are saw you needed help so we came to your aid."

Wuxie blinked, he had or rather felt a blankness of self...Something was wrong. There was a gap—a void behind his thoughts. A vast missing.

The Elder smiled kindly.

 "What is your name, child?"

Wuxie opened his mouth. Nothing.
His mind, sharp and calculating only days ago, was like wet parchment—slippery, blank, frustrating.

Even his usual inner voice, full of arrogance and cruelty, was absent.

"I… I don't… remember," he admitted quietly, a hand drifting to his chest. It was smooth… whole. Clean.

Elder Huo nodded, surprised.
" You don't remember? Hmmm, your cultivation was crippled , if we didn't step in you may have died"
"Perhaps the heavens have given you a second birth."

" For I felt the absence of something... chaotic, vexed "
Wuixe looked in with confusion

" Chaotic? But I feel.... okay? "
Those words stung something buried deep, like a note plucked on a broken zither.

Over the next hours, the Elder patiently answered every question Wuxie managed to voice.

The Continent: "You are now in the Eastern Stretch of the Tianxu continent, a continent once fractured in the Great Sundering but now mostly unified by mutual sect agreements and emperor alliances, do you not remember this as well? ."
Wuixe shook his head.
"Very well, we will do our best to make you remember"

Unknown to them that this boy wasn't from here.
The Sect: "This Is the Azure Sky Cloud Sect. A virtuous sect, one of the major sects here but not as high in comparison to the great powers of the Central region's, but respected for our purity of techniques and cultivation in the Way of Harmonious Qi Flow. We align with Heaven."

Unlike other sects that use spiritual part or the martial to draw strength, we really on the path of virtue and the way of the cloud, us people of the Tianxu continent focus on Symphonic Cultivation, where Qi flowed like orchestrated currents—subtle, elegant, vast.

"We cultivate Qi Threads here—not just brute force," Elder Huo explained. "Those threads can form weaves, and weaves can become webs to hold reality itself. It is slower… but perfect."

Wuxie was confused but intrigued.
His heart… felt calm. Too calm.

Later that day, after the Elder left, Mei Lian returned alone, standing by the doorway like a tiger looking at its prey, she looked skeptical.

"Do you truly remember nothing?" she asked, stepping softly.

Her eyes were gentle—not judging, only curious.

 "I… don't know if that makes me lucky or cursed, not knowing who I am or where I'm from, i-its like my identity is gone, who ever I am now may be different from who I was before..if I never remember..then am I not an empty incomplete vessel?" Wuxie murmured without realizing.

Mei Lian had a hard expression but held a knowing smile, ever so little.

"It makes you a mystery to the sect...interesting."

And for the first time, Wuxie smiled—not cruelly, but… lightly.

A look into The Broken Soulscape:

But not all was serene.

Inside his spiritual sea—normally the boundless dantian of a cultivator—there was storm and stone.

Picture a sea of black, waves thick with heavy oil, endlessly lapping against one rocky island under stormy skies, under a dome weaved from. Heavenly energy and ancient inscriptions.

At the center, two prisoners:
The Devouring Moon Beast, chained by runes older than Tianxu Realm itself, sleeping, but radiating ancient hunger.
Another Wuxie? the true one?,the villain, chained by heavenly bindings and howling, what is assumed to be his soul or what is the other half of a puzzle struggling violently against heavenly bindings that clung to his soul like iron spiderwebs.

"NO! THAT IS NOT ME—THIS IS NOT REAL—...WHO THE HECK IS THAT BASTARD!!!!,USING MY BODY???WHAT IS HE? GIVE ME MY BODY!!!GIVE IT BACK, GIVE IT BACK!!!!"

But outside… the new "Wuxie" only heard echoes. Barely whispers.
He scratched his head idly, feeling nothing but an occasional pressure behind his thoughts, like forgotten dreams.

Azure Sky Cloud Sect itself was nothing like Thousand Serpent Sect.

Architecture: Elegant white halls shaped like inverted lotus petals, rooftops curved gracefully upwards with azure tiles that reflected the sky.

Qi in the Air: Thick with harmony energy. It wasn't harsh or overpowering, but constant, like being surrounded by perpetual dawn.

Disciples: Dressed uniformly, light blue robes, moving gracefully between floating platforms connected by soft, humming bridges of Qi.

Training Grounds: Circular gardens with floating jade stones used for light-weight exercises and meditation flows.

Rules: Strict in behavior, not in cruelty. Disputes settled by fair duels with use of the blade, not by but by learning and proving.

Here… violence felt out of place.
It was a place of gentle strength.

That night, as Wuxie stared at the rising moon , shimmering blue in a way, it seemed different from what he faintly remembers, he knew he wasn't from here but from where? Why can he remember the environment but nothing about his experience or his past?

Who am I…?
Why do I feel… like an imposter?
do I belong here? Can I belong here?
He clenched his small fists gently, staring at the unfamiliar sky.
" Dear heavens, if this is the path you have paved for me.... I accept this gift to repay my helpers and walk the path of virtue.
