"Ughh.. Le'gooo" I whined, attempting to push her away.
"How dare you??" She whispered back. I couldn't help but roll my eyes, making her laugh. She grabbed my chin, kissing my cheek before hastily moving away.
"Ughh." I glared at her half heartedly, taking the lollipop out of my mouth as I wiped my cheek with my sleeve. She laughed.
Just a few seconds after her, Father entered the room. He did not wait for a second longer before approaching me. He grabbed my chin and turned my head to face him, moving falling hairs away with his thumb as he scanned my wound.
"How did that happen?" He asked, trying to keep a growl away from his voice. "Who did that?"
"I.. slipped."
Bullshit. It was bullshit and he knew it. He held my chin firmer between his fingers, making me lock eyes with him.
"Do not lie to me" he warned.
I looked away from him. I can't say it infront of everybody just like that. If I'll say the name, I'll also have to tell the whole story.
He put his ear to my mouth as he saw I was not going to speak.
"I can't right now" I whispered.
He pulled his head back and nodded. "Okay. Then let's go home."
He leaned forward and I wrapped my arms around his neck and legs around his torso like a koala, tucking my head under his.
I was about to take the lolly into my mouth again, but it was snatched from my grip.
Daddy examined it for a second, his face scrunching up in disgust. "What's this crap?"
But he didn't wait for an answer before throwing it straight into the garbage. My mouth fell open as I turned to glare at him.
"Don't look at me like that. I'll give you those gummy bears we have at home. They are a lot more healthier than this pure mouse poison."
I threw my head back. "I don't care about healthy! It was so gooood!!" I cried out.
He carted his fingers through my hair and pushed my head back down under his head to rest against his neck. "Hush now, we need to go."
I pouted but stayed silent. I wanted to go home as well. To my bed would be even better, but I know that won't happen since I have some explanations to do.
Bloody hell!
I'm cursed!
Father and Mother turned to go but the nurse stopped them, waving a band-aid infront of our faces.
"It would be better to protect the wound with this. We don't want it getting infected, now do we?"
The last sentence was turned to me and used with a bit of babyish voice.
I glared at her and crossed my arms.
"No lollipop, no touchy."
The nurse looked at Father for confirmation. He nodded.
