Cendi turned to the hallway, the lighting was dim with the morning rays shining through the large window that was in the living room, yet a concerned expression spread across her face, her mind wandered, asking questions.

"Why did she have that outfit on?"

"Why does it look like a space suit?"

"Why did it look like plastic?"

All these questions made her wonder what was really happening and if Vuni really had loving parents. More questions formed in Cendi's mind, causing her to wonder, causing a more intense concerned expression on her face, which made her look lost in space, ignoring the few specks of dust floating around in the apartment that was being shown by the light of the morning sun.

"Why did her parents make her wear that?"

"Does Vuni like outer space stuff?"

Then one question that stood out more than the rest.

"Why hasn't Vuni had ice cream?"

"Why did she look so confused at it?"

Cendi asked so many questions, yet found no answers. Her mind couldn't wrap around these questions she asked herself. She shook her head and put it in the back of her mind as she lay on the couch, covered up with a blanket, and snuggled up to it. The fabric from the blanket and the couch was like a fluffy cloud. She closed her eyes, yet the questions still lingered in her mind. Cendi sought answers in her dreams.

While Godfrey and his sister tried to sleep, Vuni removed her human image and turned back into an alien child. Vuni removes her space suit and puts the clothes on that Cendi gave her. She then climbs into the bed and snuggles under the blankets. The cozy and soft fabrics made Vuni slowly close her eyes, forgetting to turn on the device again that made her look human.

The apartment was dimly glowing in the sun's rays, with the living room on the left side of the apartment. In the living room was the dining table with four chairs. On the left side of the dining table was a large windowed door that had a balcony outside, but the blinds were slightly open, allowing the rays to sneak in. 

In front of the dining table was the couch that Cendi was lying on, in front of her, a TV hung on the wall. On the right side of the TV was the entrance of the hallway, where Godfrey's room was on the left side of the hallway, while Cendi's room with Vuni in it was on the right side, yet a door in the center end of the hallway stayed closed, waiting for someone to open it and rveal it's secrets.

Back at the entrance of the apartment, the right side was the kitchen, which was small, cramped, but had a cozy feeling to it. The walls of the apartment were an off-white, and in the corners were tall house plants, making the apartment welcoming.

Though the atmosphere was warm and calm, Cendi was tossing and turning on the couch. Her thoughts about Vuni and her confusion with the ice cream and her attire plagued her thoughts and even caused her to have a nightmare. The Nightmare mixed into her troubles that she had buried deep down inside her to show Godfrey, her brother, that she was strong, yet all of a sudden, with Vuni, they popped out like a nasty rash or pimples.

The nightmare that Cendi was experiencing was about Vuni, Godfrey, and how she thought she wasn't doing a good job of taking care of her brother. Her nightmare made her see her parents standing at a distance with displeased and frowns on their faces.

"What is wrong with you, Cendi!" her parents demanded.

Cendi looked worried and confused, her face twisting with concern. "Mom? Dad? What's wrong?"

Her parents stood there in anger, their arms crossed and tapping their feet in annoyance. "How can you let this happen! What happened to your promise?"

Cendi tried to step forward, yet tendril tentacles were holding Cendi back. She snapped in fear, "What in the world!" She struggled in fear, trying to escape the tendril tentacles' grip. All of a sudden, her parents got her attention, yet again, by saying, "How can you do this to them?"

Cendi looked up towards her parents and saw Godfrey and Vuni on the ground, not moving and not breathing. The sight of Godfrey and Vuni on the ground snapped her back awake, cold sweat dripped from her as if she had taken a bath, her heart raced in fear, fast and uneven, her breaths were heavy and gasping for air. she looked around the apartment, while still on the couch, with panic written on her face.

She slowly gets up from the couch, her arms and legs shaking with fear, she hugs herself, while rubbing her arms and looking around as if she were trying to find the tendril tentacles that gripped her and held her back. she slowly moved through the apartment and slowly moved towards the hallway, where she opened the door to Godfrey's room.

As she peeks in Godfrey's room, she sees that it is neither too clean nor too messy. Clothing was spread across the ground, with some clothing hanging on his bed and even dresser, while some trash was spread among the clothing. Aligned with the wall were his bed, his dresser, and a desk where a lamp sat off in the corner with his heart locket. Godfrey was in his bed, covered in a blanket, snuggled within the fabrics of his bed, and gently breathing in relaxation, still showing life. Cendi sighs with relief and shuts the door to Godfrey's room.

Cendi continued to her room to check on Vuni; however, Cendi began to hang on the walls of the hallway, her legs began to shake in fear, and her arms slid down the walls in weakness, as she got closer and closer to her room, and her vision started to go blurry. As Cendi got to the door to her room, she slightly opened it. Though she opened the door, her vision was failing her for some reason, and she shook her head, trying to get her sight to work for her.

Cendi's walls in her room were off-white, and her bed was aligned to the wall but was centered in the room, which was right by the door. She had a dresser and a nightstand on the other side of the bed, where the device was. Cendi saw the space outfit on the floor, still with its plastic-like fabric. The blinds to the room were closed to her window, hiding the sunlight from coming in. Cendi still had a desk that she worked at when she had work or checked on Godfrey's school events, which had a computer on it.

In Cendi's bed, Vuni was relaxing, sleeping in a gentle state, slowly breathing in a calm state. Yet, with Cendi's sight off, she didn't realize that Vuni was in her alien form. Cendi still saw Vuni in her Human form, soundly sleeping peacefully. Cendi sighs with relief and slowly closes the door and stumbles back to the couch, where she sits on it, covered in a blanket, hugging it around her, trying to shake off the fear and the panic that her nightmare gave her.

She turned on the TV and watched something on it while listening to the bird that chirped loudly outside. She gripped the remote of the TV, trying to drown out her nightmare. As she stared at the TV, she slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep. The TV and the show that was showing on it caused her mind to relax and be at ease, causing her to get some sleep.

As Cendi, Vuni, and Godfrey continued to sleep, the day continued. Sending in warm rays within the apartment, causing it to be a calm and warm feeling in the entire building.

As the day slipped by, while everyone slept in, what they didn't know was that a search party of officials found Vuni's ship and parents, which were long gone. They tore the ship apart trying to find out why and what the reason was for the aliens. They froze the bodies of Vuni's parents in cryochambers and studied everything they found in the ship, even a picture of Vuni and her parents.

A group of officials stood around trying to figure out what to do next, looking at parts and gadgets of the ship, trying to figure out if they were weapons or something else. as the group officals stood then figuring out what to do next and what their next move was, they looked at the picture that was wholesome and filled with happiness, as one of them said, "one of them is still out there, we need to find it and bring it in." 

Another official says, "What are we going to do when we find it?"

The other official says, "We will study it and figure out why they are here, of course."
