They were only a day out when Skoll cornered Elliot in the parking lot of what was to be their last motel for a while. Tonka had gone inside to get them rooms for the night.
"Eli, you can't keep ignoring me." It was bothering him so much. His wolf had been whining for days now. The both of them clashed when Elliot iced them out.
"I'm not ignoring you." Elliot lied. He had talked to Skoll as little as possible.
"That's the most you've said to me in days."
"So." Elliot turned, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm still here. That should be enough." He hadn't left that had to mean something.
"It's not." Skoll stepped closer to him, watching as Elliot took a step back. "I don't like it when you're mad at me."
Elliot's eyes flared. He was more than mad. He was hurt.
"I should have told you about it but honestly," He rubbed the back of his neck, "they were gone. I didn't think it mattered anymore. Plus everything was going well for us. At least I thought it was. . . I was finally happy." Skoll hadn't been happy for a long long time. He got glimpses of it when he was with Elliot but it never lasted long because he never stayed. "I didn't want to ruin what we had going. It had taken you so long to come around and I didn't want to lose it." Skoll stepped closer, this time Elliot didn't move. "I don't want to lose you."
Elliot sighed, uncrossing his arms, softening. Softening so much so Skoll got close enough to touch him, cupping the side of his face, running his thumb along his cheek. "You make me better." He hated to admit it but he was. "I'm better with you. I love you."
Elliot's eyes flickered. Skoll had never said that himself before.
"Say it again."
Skoll smirked, "I love you."
A smile formed on Elliot's face now.
"More than an Omega, who has this pull over you that you can't help and can have multiple mates at one time and could be the key to strengthening . . . "
Skoll didn't let him finish, shutting him up with a kiss. "Only you."

"On second thought," Tonka turned around to head back to the main desk, "Can I get a room on the other side of the building?"
It was Tonka whistling that broke their kiss. Skoll turned around as Tonka tossed their room key to him. "We leave at sunrise."
Skoll caught it as Elliot grabbed him by the hand, waiting for him to lead the way.

Elliot walked out mumbling to himself the next morning way more worked up then when Skoll left him five minutes ago.
"What's wrong?" Skoll asked.
"I'm out of my pomade already and my body wash is almost out too." Elliot cut his eyes to Skoll, who tossed his hands up.
"Pomade no. Body wash, however guilty." He liked the way Elliot smelled, plus it was the only one in the bathroom when he got in the shower this morning. It wasn't his fault they worked up a sweat last night.
"Sure." Replied Elliot not believing him as he pulled on his knitted beanie. He was so glad that today was going to be their last ride. He was over freezing his balls off. "You think they get Amazon out here?"
Tonka started laughing as Elliot tied his bag down to his bike.
"What's funny?" Asked Skoll.
"Nothing." Tonka shook his head, leaning in towards Skoll, "He's a bit high maintenance."
"I heard that." Commented Elliot. So what if he was? There wasn't anything wrong with having a high standard when it came to his appearance. Plus he was kind of worried about today. Though having perfectly set hair wasn't going to make it go any easier. Not that he would ever admit that he was worried. Skoll said he loved him but so did Andrew. Words were just words even if they carried weight.

They arrived just before the sun was about to set for the day. Elliot hopped off his bike following behind Tonka and Skoll. The town was small, then again most of the towns they rode through over the last few days have been small. They were out in the middle of nowhere.
Elliot stayed a few feet back as they walked into the garage. His gaze fell on the three males working on the truck. It didn't take long for one of them to quickly hide behind the other two. Elliot assumed the one hiding was the omega.
Skoll took offence as Quinn hid from them. It was kind of cute. Playing into the idea that he was genuinely hurt by the notion that he would do something to the omega in front of the rest of them. If anything Skoll knew he had to be on his best behavior here on out. Elliot had been on edge since the moment the omega had been mentioned.
Elliot grabbed the back of Skoll's neck, ordering him to do as he promised him last night.
"Sorry about before," Skoll said half-heartedly before Brandon walked out looking relieved to see them waving them back.
Elliot stayed behind. He had a feeling the conversation they were about to have didn't need to involve him. Plus he was more curious about the omega.
Elliot relaxed his shoulders, stuffing his hands into his front pockets. "Were the reinforcements." He walked over to them. "Heard some guys went missing. Brandon called, so we're here to help." That was pretty much all he knew up to this point.
This is where the story starts to lap over STAY. I tried my best to write it in line with STAY and in a way that if you havent read STAY you won't be lost.
Skoll and Elliot get their own story!
(These two are originally featured in Stay: In the Moonlight.)
*I've done my best to write this so if you haven't read that you won't really need too, but I highly recommend because Crash and Quinn are lovlies too.*
Come join these two on their own ups and downs. This story does run into the same timeline as STAY.
*Disclaimer like most of my stories this one also features some hard topics or sences that can be difficult for some to read. They will be flagged for mature.
